Well Emily Wilde was a 2 star read for me, gutted as it seemed a proper cosy autumnal read but it took so long to get to the point of each sentence and it was over descriptive that I got bored. Nearly DNF’d but persevered. Wish I did DNF now! Oh well! Reading Hook Line & Sinker now!

I finished reading The Marriage Pact by Michelle Richmond this afternoon and I do not recommend it. Absolute load of tosh, a rip off of The Handmaid's Tale and The Stepford Wives, but really badly written. Characters were totally unbelievable and stupid. I read it to the end though, because I hate to DNF a book - but I wish I had with this one.
Thank goodness it was one of my 10 for £1 paperbacks from the charity shop. It's going back there on Monday.

i’m fascinated by the back story with him and sloane so can’t wait to read this.
