Tik Tok hype. That book is as dull as dishwater. I read every tenth page and even regretted that.

My much younger than me colleague at work recommended Daisy Jones to me, I read the first page and noped right out! 
I love my kindle as I don’t have much space to store physical books but I do love the smell of a new book

I really enjoyed Daisy Jones. It was just such a different read for me. Certainly not a literature masterpiece but was nice and fluffy and sometimes I like nothing much happening.

I loved Daisy Jones! One of my favourite reads from last year, was so engrossed the whole time. I started watching the series last night, only watched an episode and a bit but I think it’ll be good! Seems very well done and true to the book
i liked daisy jones too: it was very engaging to me and i love that whole era/vibe anyway so i think i read it in one sitting 
i do get that the format especially would be a pain for a lot of people!

I’m quite enjoying the format and era of it all as it reminds me of old VH1 documentaries I’d watch with my dad but I’m just desperate for something of any note or worth to happen. i suppose it depends what you mean by something of note because there isn’t much
it’s really fleetwood mac fanfiction so more a depiction of a band slowly destroying itself from the inside than lots of big events. if you’re not into it now then i would honestly say not much changes within it.I just want a bit of a scandal or a drama to make it worth reading. I have a feeling it’s not going to be the book for me.i suppose it depends what you mean by something of note because there isn’t much
I'm 35, not on tiktok and I enjoyed it when I first started it I was put off by the writing style (it's the first book by TJR I've read) but my New Years Resolution is to be more open minded with reading so I stuck with it and I'm glad I did. It's not a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination, but I enjoyed it for what it was. It probably helps that I'm a massive fan of Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks and the 70's in general.

I liked the format and the characters, just thought the story was lacking
I watched all 3 episodes that are out and I'm neither disappointed nor amazed. Think it's fairly good, but again, since I didn't like the story in the book, I'm sure the series will be similar

Thanks to last night's insomnia, I managed to finish Vladimir in one sitting. Completely wild book and one from of the "angry woman" trope that I've actually enjoyed? Sometimes these books miss the mark (Animal by Lisa Taddeo, I'm looking at you). Was Vladimir a book club choice or have I made that up?
Random number generator clocked up 65 which is The Sunday Lunch Club. I can't remember downloading it but it seems to be the lighter read I need after Vladimir.

It was a nominee this month and almost first choice but just in 2nd place. I enjoyed it too.

I’m halfway through My Grandmother Sends Her Regards And Apologises by Fredrik Backman. Only started it yesterday. It’s very sweet. His books are just such cosy reads. And @Caffeine Fiend advises it’s read before Britt Marie which I got in this months deals

I would say that of all the FB books Ive read, My Grandmother is my least favourite. However it is still good! I loved Britt Marie though. She was such a unique and quirky character
