I would love this! I have the first one on kindle, the second paperback, and have preordered the third so it'll be hardback and as I love the series so much I hate that I will have 3 different formatsContinuation of this thread here
I was just coming to post to ask if we think there will be a trilogy special edition of Beartown, Us Against You and The Winner when the 3rd book is released? I'd like to buy hard backs for my bookcase. (Yes I know, I don't like hardbacks)
Beartown senses tingling. I must haveI would love this! I have the first one on kindle, the second paperback, and have preordered the third so it'll be hardback and as I love the series so much I hate that I will have 3 different formats
Did you watch the TV series? I haven't but am considering!
Haven't posted here for ages must have sensed Bear Town was being discussed
Ive actually been very restrained with the 99p deals since July. Id really like to make a dent in my TBR for the new year. Im managing about 10 books per month at the moment so I could easily half it before 2023. Would be nice to start fresher. Thanks for setting up a new thread @Caffeine Fiend although I may have to hide all your posts because you're a terrible influence on me with those 99p deals
Its not the worst, I think I gave it 3.5 stars. Regretting You was *alot* better.Continuing on with the CoHo chat from last thread, I started Reminders of Him today. I had to check the date of publication as it reads like a very cliche American style romance and I was surprised to see it’s her newest book! I guess I just thought considering all the hype around her it would be a bit better written. I have read a few of hers before but not recently. It’s getting better the more I get into it but I’m finding it hard to sympathise with the main character!!!
Yes! I read The Night Road first and it was just so similar, but less goodIts not the worst, I think I gave it 3.5 stars. Regretting You was *alot* better.
Seen quite a few Bookstagrammers saying The Night Road and Reminders Of Him are practically the same story but The Night Road is better.
Ahhh me too ok I’ll have to read Night Road after!! I think The Great Alone is one of favourite books of all timeYes! I read The Night Road first and it was just so similar, but less goodI am a Kristin Hannah stan though.
I enjoyed the film far more than I enjoyed the bookJust been to see Where the Crawdads Sing. Beautiful film. Really did the book justice. Absolutely loved it.
I read it a few weeks ago on holiday as I had it on my tbr for ages and wanted a great read after a terrible one.I’m about 25% in to The Last Thing to Burn by Will Dean and I think I might be an outlier on this thread… I’m not loving it? It’s a bit slow and repetitive for my liking, so far. I will continue though and see where it goes
I agree. I seen a lot of bad reviews for it but I loved itJust been to see Where the Crawdads Sing. Beautiful film. Really did the book justice. Absolutely loved it.
I wasn’t overly impressed by it either tbh. It felt quite slow and repetitive to me andI’m about 25% in to The Last Thing to Burn by Will Dean and I think I might be an outlier on this thread… I’m not loving it?
