I had forgotten how beautiful Tom's accent was and how camp Darren was!!!! And to be honest Nick came over as more of a buffoon than nasty, sly maybe but not that clever.
Darren is now out as gay I think? I didn’t imagine that like I did with Glyn being gay surely?

The first few series were good until people became too aware of the cameras and only went in to become famous.

Watching old episodes it's amazing how what is deemed as acceptable viewing has changed. The live launch of the series with Pete and Nikki, there's a contestant called George. Davina says that two of his biggest fears are transvestites and overly camp gay men, or something along those lines. You wouldn't dare broadcast that now!
Also how in the Nadia series - Jay, Victor and Stu are having a conversation about how she looks like a man. A lot of what they say would not be aired now.
On a side note: I so fancied Aaron from the first C5 BB series. He was a beaut!

Bit disappointed with that show on C4. Loved the nostalgia but I was hoping it was going to be clips alongside discussions about the show, more ex-housemates, behind-the-scenes, a bit of gossip. The episodes for the rest of the week look a bit tit. I want to see Fight Night again!
Loved the simplicity of early Big Brother such as the tasks, the shopping budgets etc, but the bedrooms looked so basic! When did they start using the flashy BB eye button for the diary room?
