I'm loving this thread and all the old BB memories!

It's made me want to go back and watch old episodes. How are people able to watch as youtube is blocking me?

Thank you!!

One of my favourite winners is Sophie from bb9. She was just a down to earth person who liked a laugh and a drink. I remember she’d go round the table and drink everyone’s empties 😂 it’s not the list of iconic series but her as dog face and Freddie as halfwit were a great double act in the diary room.

I also really liked her friendship with Rodriguo. I remember they had to do a dance together, dressed as robots, and then another time they were in the diary room together and just kept laughing and laughing. I watched loads of the Live feed of that series as my son was born midway through it and didn't sleep at all (until he was 1 but that's another story!), so it was a lot of BB all nighters feeding a newborn. He's nearly 11 now!

Oh yeah Rodrigo! I remember that diary room moment. It was hilarious and also real. It’s madness how long ago that was!

This might have been mentioned upthread already but Rodrigo has since had a sex change, and is now called Rebecca Shelton.

Was it him that was a huge fan of the Queen and they made him think he had afternoon tea with her?!

Really?! I didn't know that. Just googled and saw that someone hacked her Twitter account in 2018 and posted that she had passed away. What a horrible thing to do. Poor woman.

Does anyone remember Roberto the Italian who chucked a bowl of pasta over Maxwell’s head during an argument? I used to fancy him like mad and would watch live feed just to look at him.

I remember him saying 'Whatever, Minger' to the camera and doing a W and then an M sign on his forehead

The BB that had Michelle Bass, Stu, Victor etc was the one that stood out. I remember being on holiday in Spain and ‘fight night’ was all over the front page of the papers. Think it was the first year they did the whole ‘make them think they’ve been evicted and send them to a secret house’ - so many standout moments from 1-6, ‘I can’t call my baby jacuzzi’ , Kitten climbing on the roof, Nasty Nick, after that it went a bit tit when people were clearly using it to get famous. The last series I watched was the one with Wolfy. She was proper outrageous and went in barefoot, the audience instantly loved her and were chanting her name and voted her to be leader of the house or something. Then she let the power go to her head and started treating people like crap. Will never forget her face at the next live eviction, she was expecting people to be cheering for her and when her name was called she got a load of boos. Ahhh I feel nostalgic!

I'd also add make nominations more like the Australian version( old series as i'm not sure if the new series is same) Where you just get 2 minutes to nominate
I’m big brother used to hurry them in the beginning but wasn’t timed. Now they can take about an hour thinking.
When me and friend worked in an office together we’d sit on our break and discuss if we were in big brother with our colleagues who we would nominate that specific week 😂 and it wasn’t even hard so imagine you lived with them. Some rake it to far by saying they can’t decide
Noooo, 2 minute nominations would be horrible - Kemal and Nikki were both hilarious in the diary room and used to give reasons for their nominations that went on for well over 2 minutes and they were funny to watch.

Also, BB I don’t remember them hurrying nominations, I remember they used to make them stay sitting in the lounge for up to four hours sometimes all together while nominations took place and the tension it caused because it was the only time except tasks when they were all in the same room at the same time.

also remember when BB7 went on holiday and left an automated service in its place in the diary room and Suzie got locked in when nominating and stuck in a long call queue and the housemates became suspicious 😂
