I was surprised seeing Adele on I'm A Celeb, only remember her being quite a feisty character who seemed to have a thing for fellow gym lover, Lee.Not the Jane McDonald obsessed meek and delicate looking lady she is now.

I often wonder what happened to Mario whenever I see his ex Lisa in the papers doing something outrageous, given he was as much as a fame seeker as her.I used to cringe whenever an argument erupted he would bang on about being a magistrate and a personal officer.

Remember when they sent in Sly Stallone's mother, Jackie(yeah Brackie) just because Brigitte Nielsen was in there? She wound them all up in there, especially Kenzie from Blazin Squad who she bossed around and referred to him as that little kid.

Who was that Irish bloke who thought he was Eminem? Spiral?

I just watched the episode of BB7 where they have to write songs for their best friend in the house. Spirals rap for Michael and that xylophone. So cringe

Shame C4 or 5, whoever own the rights now don't read. If they came back with the original format and got run-of-the-mill folks, they'd have a ratings hit again. Especially now after what we've all been through for the last few months. Just don't get the Instafamous, fake lips, fake boobs, desperate to be famous types. I think most people are sick of that.

Loving this thread! Honestly I think I'd get more fun out of finding gossip about former housemates than actual big name celebs sometimes!
I rewatched the entire 2005/2006 series when I was unemployed a few years back.

I always thought I would have been great on BB but I was too young during its glory days. I did however, win an online BB that was across a forum/chat rooms! This was back in 2006/7

I used to say I’d apply to go on bb when I’m old enough in the early days. Dunno what I was thinking it would be the last thing I’d ever want to do now

My all time favourite tasks were the box, jail(rich side/poor side) and electric shock ones. There are probably others I’ve forgotten but these ones are the ones I remember most.

The first time they did the secret room where a couple of housemates were ‘evicted’ but went into a bed sit to watch the other housemates was good too.

For the civilian series it does need to be stripped back to basics. Chalk board for the shopping list not iPads, NO face to to face nominations - that goes against the original big brother rules. No showing nominations on the screen to cause tit. Previous big brothers have shown that they can cause tit ok their own. And stop putting people back in the house once they’ve been evicted. They can do all that with celeb bb though cos it’s more entertaining to see them scrap

I'd also add make nominations more like the Australian version( old series as i'm not sure if the new series is same) Where you just get 2 minutes to nominate

I’m big brother used to hurry them in the beginning but wasn’t timed. Now they can take about an hour thinking.
When me and friend worked in an office together we’d sit on our break and discuss if we were in big brother with our colleagues who we would nominate that specific week and it wasn’t even hard so imagine you lived with them. Some rake it to far by saying they can’t decide

I'm pretty sure the TV company Endemol owns the rights to the programme and then 'leases' it, for want of a better word, to TV channels. We should send Endemol a link to this thread!

Or maybe Channel 4 are testing the waters with the Best Bits of BB show to see if it might be worth their while bringing it back?

Yeah, the odd housemate going back in was fine because it was unexpected and would shake things up but when it was every series I got fed up of it, especially as the housemates always tended to assume thay was happening - ok a lot of the time they were wrong but the fact that they even knew it could happen just ruined it

I'd forgotten most housemates from BB4 and so looked at the Housemates list the other night. Was the woman he had a thing with called Steph? I seem to remember she had previously been married to a footballer? She had a quintessentially Y2k/Early noughties hairstyle!
