Well unless it’s live nominations in the diary room they are all edited down and shortened for the show anyway so it doesn’t matter how long it takes

Even watching clips on YT the music gives me tingles. BB was such a big part of my life for so long.
It's such a shame we don't have it this year as with everyone locked down it would have been huge.
I think the timing of the axe was very unfortunate as I do think that Five had tried to get back to basics in many ways with the last series with minimal meddling from the producers.

He literally went in that house a boy and came out a man. The difference was astonishing.
I remember being astonished that he’d never boiled an egg before at 19. I was boiling my own eggs at about 10!
yes me and my mum and sister all thought that. Hilariously I can’t actually remember anything about that last series off the top of my head, but I do remember us all saying it had been really good. Aww I feel a bit sad now actually! Have just had a quick look to remind myself of those final housemates.
We really enjoyed it too, but I cannot remember any of the housemates! Very odd as my memories of the earlier series as so vivid.
My OH referred to 'Cameron from Big Brother' the other week and I was very confused how he even knew who Cameron BB4 was, of course, he meant the final winner!
Huge BB fan here, I miss it so much! I was also on the old C4 forum back in the day. We all used to pick a number before the housemates went into the house and you had to support that HM no matter what

I stopped watching it in 2007. When they eventually cancelled it a couple of years ago I was like about time its passed it's best. Now I'm feeling really nostalgic about it probably because it is 20 years since it started. For me to watch it again they would really need to go back basics and I want normal people from all ages and different backgrounds on it. Not instagrammers or people signed up to reality tv talent agencies. That's not gonna happen though is it? Also, I like Emma Willis but would quite like Davina back just for nostalgia.I really hope so!
If it was planned before covid then possibly but otherwise it may just be a celebration of what shaped the channel for its 20th birthday (and to fill screen time lol).
Loved BB and have throughly enjoyed the memories on this thread. One of my fave moments.

As much as I'd like BB to return it would never work now, not like it did. Firstly because of social media. Everyone's searchable, the press would trawl through everything and find any bit of scandal. It would make it really hard for anyone going on plus as an audience it would be hard not to be manipulated by the media. So as much as producers might want not want to intervene much, the media would be well amongst it all. Secondly people are so sensitive now and complain about everything. Weve already spoken about the racist undertones of series...5 (I think, maybe 6? The one with Anthony Hutton). Saskia 'hates immigrants' and slates Makosi for wearing a wig. The next series along Grace called Aisleyne a w*gger, something which another girl (I want to say Emily but might have made that up) was thrown out for in a later series for for referring to herself as. So maybe in the future when the woke left calm their passions for complaining about everything maybe but for now, nah, it just ain't gonna happen.
I’ve just thought, if it’s on channel 4 will they only be showing the channel 4 highlights or all of it? Hope all of it! Haven’t looked at the synopsis properly. Looking forward to it tho! There’s quite a bit of the channel 4 series I haven’t seen to be fair, my sister watched it obsessively but I just used to watch the first and last episodes and then dip in and out of the rest, i might have a week where I watched every episode and then the next week only watch two. I didn’t start watching it full time until channel 5 because my mum decided she wanted to watch it so I thought I would as well.
Emily actually used the n word more Than once which is why she was kicked out

Of course they were, because NOTHING INTERESTING HAPPENED IN BB4.
They‘ve never matched the ratings they got for Big Brother, so its possible.
