Thanks for the responses regarding profhilio!! I think for the price I'll leave it for now, my skin is quite dry so it may help but it is a hefty price. The flex looks amazing!! Do people find microneedling worthwhile? I'm still very new to it all!!

You have to be very careful as it can cause fat loss and make loose skin look worse. I know some people say that can’t happen with home devices as they are not as strong but it really can. Just be cautious and don’t stay on one area too long.
Micro needling can also help improve the tone but you have to be committed to doing it as it needs to be done regularly, over a period of time before you start to see any results

Last year I went to a very reputable cosmetic surgeon, (I went to him as he does private work and works for the NHS rebuilding faces, I’ve seen his work and really trust him). Anyway he refused to touch my face with a scalpel, so that’s that for the moment. When I told him I’d read that you can leave it too late to have work done on your face, he said that’s absolute rubbish you want to get your monies worth, he wasn’t rude just being on honest and I really like that as that’s what you want.
I then went to say I read that on Realself, he said the less I say about that the better. 😬 He use to give advice on there he said but theres also a lot of rubbish written by ‘specialists’ he said so I have removed myself. Although personally I do think there‘s some useful advice especially from customers, just thought it worth mentioning.

For anyone interested face exercises work wonders for lifting cheek muscles and improving the jawline.
Thanks, what face exercises would you recommend? Also, has anyone had softwave treatment? It seems to be everywhere at the moment.

Hair related question if I may. I have naturally curly hair and am thinking about getting a Dyson hairdryer. However I've just come across the cloud nine airshot which looks good. Does anyone have any experience of either product and if so do you recommend one over the other?

Slightly different question from me.
I’ve read that LED can help with hair loss. Does anyone know of anyone who has had success with this please?
The hair cap devices are very expensive but if they work I’d invest in one for my 20 something, very self conscious son.
Thanks.
(part of me thinks they can’t really work or else wouldn’t we end up with hairy faces from the facial devices?) 🤔

Can anyone recommend a gadget for clearing up skin? I’ve had so many big red spots come up on my chin and around my mouth this year because I cannot stop picking at the lumps and bumps that appear and giving my skin a good squeeze and getting all the gunk out. I’m certain that what I’m squeezing isn’t blackheads- should I even be looking at gadgets?
Their location makes me think the spots could be hormonal - has anything changed in that regard recently i.e a new hormonal birth control pill, or increased stress this year? I get a few chin breakouts near my period if I am stressed.

I think maybe a product to treat the bumps might be more effective than a device. Have you tried something like a BHA exfoiliant? Paula's Choice does one called the Skin Perfecting BHA Liquid Exfoliant. But also brands like Inkey List and the Ordinary make good liquid exfoliants too. Normally the advice is to use one a few times a week.

I guess the idea is that if used alongside the full face one, the additional 3 mins of more concentrated light purely around the eye contour will improve results? I think if the eye one had been available first I'd have gone with that before buying the full face one
Same. I'm reluctant to buy the eye one having already got the face and neck and dec

Anyone
Currentbody LED Neck & Dec mask on offer at QVC today only.
£190 plus postage.
Includes 5 hydrogel masks.

Check cash back sites and go through those if ordering. Quidco is 4.5% for this item so it all helps. 🙂

It is currently £250 for the LED mask plus £37 for the Hydrogel masks on the Currentbody site, so it’s almost £100 saving if you but from QVC today.

Offer ends midnight tonight or earlier if it sells out.
Anyone have this. Would you recommend?

What do you think of this treatment?
It’s an injection of hyalaunic can’t spell into the face so not prophilo?

they are calling it a glow boost

Is this a waste of time
Just for hydration boost,
I'd be interested to find out if it's actually a new treatment or just a small amount of filler? The filler used in my lips is hyaluronic

I saw two consultants in Scotland but was drawn to London and probably right or wrong impressed with the v public work like with Kay Burley. Neither of the Scottish consultants recommended deep plane they felt usual face lift would give me a result. Yes agree the 7 years seemed plucked out of the air but (I’m two months on) and I’d say he’s not far away on that.
Still early days too, it's going to look better and better as everything settles. How exciting!

Is his waiting list long?

I am a marketer's dream... so close to buying the Ziip Halo after reading lots of great reviews. Anyone got one?
---

Edit: I've ordered it 😬

I found a discount code for 25% off, which, combined with Klarna spread over 3 interest free payments, means it's practically free, right? #girlmath
Do let us know how yo get on! I have been tempted to get the Halo. I use the ZIIP Silver Gel with my Nuface mini and really like it.

My UFO died a little while ago and I've got some birthday money.. now we are into winter I've really noticed my skin getting dry no matter what I slap on my face and thinking I'm going to replace it. Can someone enable me? Please and thank you :ROFLMAO:

Does anyone have the new UFO 3? I think I'm going to get it from here on offer as it also comes with some masks https://www.currentbody.com/products/foreo-ufo-3-smart-mask-treatment-device

They seem to have another UFO3 LED version that's a bit cheaper but I can't for the life of me work out the difference. They both have the LED settings and surely a handheld thing you put on your face for a couple of minutes isn't going to have the same benefit as an LED mask would have anyway?!

Thank you everyone and it's an interesting point around what else do we do and does it make a difference. And that's without discussing what if we did nothing at all!
Do you have an LED mask? Weirdly I prefer doing 10 mins a day, if I had to remember 3 sessions a week I’d forget.

Has anyone tried electrolysis? I was talking to a friend about laser/IPL/Alexandrite/NDYAG, and decided to look up electrolysis. The prices seemed pretty reasonable, and I wondered why I'd never looked at it before, especially as it is actually permanent, unlike laser hair removal.
