I said this the other day. I maybe buy 5 quality new tree decs every year, mainly to replace ones that break etc. We have a real tree that we replant. I love that my kids will remember the baubles. I love Christmas, but not the commercialism. Love playing the board games and cards that we pull out the cupboard each year. Yes we spend more on food & drink than we would normally do and we buy gifts.......absolutely no tat! I don’t even buy the advent calendars I refill wooden ones as I hate how tatty the chocolate ones look.
I almost feel like she’s reading this and turning it UP because she knows she’s irritating us all.
You sound a bit like myself, when we travel I always try to buy a little something that i add to the tree, even treated myself to a Tiffany one when we were in New York.. couldn’t pay me to hang those horrid silver baubles let alone those friggin stags 😂

She has an addictive personality- she replaces one thing with another. I suppose buying rubbish and putting up 30 trees stops her from thinking about food or her so obvious eating disorder. Sad thing is she thinks she’s in control of it when he manic behaviour shows otherwise!

I noticed the majority of her decs were navy and silver, what's she going to do with them this year if her bloody living room is 'raspberry' urgh. Don't even get me started on all the 'stans'... there is really no need. Her tree was bleeping horrific with all them poking out of it last year.

I bet she’s bleeping seething people have come round interrupting her wreef making 🙊
This is exactly my point about her, why can’t her friends visit her without her having to broadcast it to the world 🙄 Begay I’m sure we could all go a few hours with not knowing what you’re up to, her poor mates looked uncomfortable

This woman makes me angry. My husband works long hours on low pay, we just about make ends meet. We scrimp together just to find a pound for a bottle of milk. We can never afford new decorations, our tree was given to us 15 years ago but we made it pretty with kids homemade decorations, all of which we still have. We struggle with Christmas every year, every single penny we have spare goes on our girls yet this woman is just so wasteful. Although in the same breath, I think I'd rather have our sentimental decorations than any of her tat....

And it’s only going to get bigger 🙄
It totally clashes with that wallpaper, well the whole bloody room actually. It isn't exactly like a statement piece in a minimal room. Which could actually be quite nice.... anyhoo I digress.

She is so very wasteful!

I’m sure your Christmas’s are very special, all this commercialism and greed is the complete opposite of what Christmas should be about ❤

She must feel so depressed in January with such a big build up and then the day is over in a flash. But then I suppose she goes and buys another half ton of shite in the sales 🙄🙄

Yup... then it's onto redecorating the living room. All the silver in that room hurts my eyes 🤯

Same!! I had to raid our penny jar for daily essentials at the weekend! And she just chucks money around and brags about it, with no thought about others like us!
When o get down about our financial situation my husband always says at least the things we own and buy we have used our own money not a #gifted although wouldn’t it be nice to be gifted now and then?!

I’m no shrink but I do wonder why Christmas is such a big deal for her. Obviously connected to her childhood in some way. It’s all she talks about. She is obsessed. This level of excitement is just not normal. I’d say she’s acting like a child but my five year old isn’t even behaving like this!!

It’s not normal - but i think it’s actually put on for Instagram

It’s like she’s is wishing away Jason’s birthday to get intonations Christmas

The level of Christmas paraphernalia Becky has is OFF THE SCALE. I have one large cardboard box of baubles and a handful of Christmas/winter accessories, little ornaments etc and a Christmas tree bagged up separately. That’s absolutely it. They’ll go up early/mid December and back down about a week after Christmas. End of story.

Is she decorating the whole street with those decoration??? There's no way you need all that. As someone on this thread said donate it to those who can make use of it - do something decent for once rather than bragging and buying things you don't need.
There's people out there who dread this time of year as they simply do not have the money and there's beggy who does nothing but spend spend spend
It does look like a shop display though. An over the top one. ;)
