I'm really unsure who will get the tea time slot. I really wanted OJ but he's hardly covered it so can't be lining him up. Joel probably best of a bad bunch but not a proper DJ or someone I'd feel the need to regularly listen to

This is the daily broadcast schedule for BBC Radio 2
Next week there isn't a DJ in their regular position until Jo Wiley. How can that even be allowed? You have to make an exception for Trevor, but usually a work place doesn't allow so many people off at once.
With that and the dragging out of drivetime it's getting like Radio 1 with all the influencers. I like Joel Dormett and Ellie Taylor is OK, but neither are DJs. If they cannot get Greg James they could surely have persuaded Zoe Ball to stick around to do drivetime as a permanent host, instead of going to commercial radio to do it.
I for one would love that. I just don’t think he’s interested in a full time gig

Jo will be out next I reckon, she doesn't even seem to care about music any more (she didn't know that Sam Fender track had been no.1 for a record breaking time the other week) and her show is so very lacklustre (when she's there)

Yes she will have taken her ball home pardon the pun, about missing out on Strictly, so ended up at the Radio 2 retirement home.
