Thinking about how R1 can't get any decent talent it occurred to me that they used to get alot of presenters directly from kids TV. Vernon, Zoe, Jamie Theakston, Fearne and Reggie, Katy, Matt. The Kids TV presenter to radio host pipeline no longer exists so they think employing social media people is the next best thing.

She has sat in for quite a few years now.
All the worse then, it's been a shambles and I thought maybe it was nerves but perhaps not if she's done it a while?

I really like Mark Goodier in the drive time slot. It just shows the difference between a presenter & a DJ.
Angela was particularly bad yesterday I felt. That 4pm slot is a mess at the moment. You have to wonder why they aren’t sorting it out faster.
I don't get Angela Scanlon. She SHOULD be good but she's shocking! I'm not sure she knows who she's supposed to be?
I’m not listening to Sara, I’m only asking my Alexa to play radio 2 when Vernon and Jeremy are on. I’ve started listening to my own Spotify because the music Sara plays isn’t great. They’ve made an error there with Sara, even though I thought she would be good. I reckon Vernon would be a good shout for breakfast or someone completely new.
I love Sara but and I used to enjoy her when she filled in for breakfast but something seems "off" now. She's only been on a few weeks so I'm going to give her some time. Perhaps it's because this isn't someone naturally moving on, and she feels awkward.
