I’m also fascinated by the traffic reports and how they decide what’s worth mentioning on a national station. It makes sense as a local feature.

Has she mentioned retiring? Will it be soon? That will be a shame. Replacing her will be difficult. I don't know of any other travel reporters like her. She's a good part of the shows at this point.
I remember that. Someone must have sent something very negative. I am surprised someone would even do that, she's not someone that you would imagine would garner much, if any negativity.

The person the main news anchor on r1 throws to to most days (and is talking about the weather this morning) does my bleeping head in, his reports are always gramatically all over the place and he sounds like he can’t read?! Newsbeat has always been bad but is more patronising and irritating than ever now, it’s one of the main reasons I switched over to 2
