This is a lot! I was there a few months ago and had a private room in a good hostel for £11 a night. I can’t have been spending more than a few £ per day on food and general expenses either.
Agreed, it is like a lot of youtubers tbh, they lose their original appeal
She never once showed the sleeping arrangements in her latest tour around Ireland, despite the fact that her than that (annoying) guy travelled around for days and days. Did they share a room/bed?
Also, I cackled when she said that Britain and Ireland are similar because of the Common Travel Area and not… a mix between geography and colonialism.

I started the video and gave up, was it sponsored by British Airways? If it was it wasn't a great ad, going on about how "actually" the hand luggage was fine for 5 days (does anyone going to a country with a very similar climate need more than hand luggage for 5 days?!) She sounded almost annoyed she only had that not check in luggage at times.
It also annoyed me that she didnt use the local taxi company which is easy to get from the airport and instead an uber

It is boring. I'm more into "realistic" travel vlogs that highlight the reality of travelling..the awkward interactions/confusing moments/and discovering a place. Not the old style vlog that's overly montaged, with royalty-free music, overly-romantic "wanderlust" vibes. Christianne is so shallow she's put up like twenty stories of the colour of a bikini. A BIKINI! Bore off.

I’m so shocked that, as someone who is well travelled, when she goes to other countries she doesn’t seem to attempt to speak their language…
I’m not saying you need to learn the entire language but simple greetings go along way. Idk I just think it makes you look a bit entitled if you don’t even bother learning hello or thank you and instead expect them to speak to you in English

I like Hand Luggage Only, they both seem like really nice people and very down to earth, but they don't really post videos anymore just instagram but they have lots of videos from 6+ months ago
I really like GeoWizard, he does fun travel challenges like walking across a country in a straight line. He also has a How Not To Travel Europe series which shows the awkward and sometimes uncomfortable reality of travelling. He isn't some syrupy Instagram filter type guy. Really recommend him!
