To me, the fact that an adult parent is incapable of caring for his own children without assistance, is far from funny.

It just shows what a total flog he actually is, so he surrounds himself with enablers.

100% worse is he is just doing it for engagement 🤷‍♀️
Oh how this has blown up since I first posted this! He is 100% doing it for engagement and it's so gross.

Bubs2bikinis is trying so hard to go viral with her mum life reels lately… the younger boy Jack has been wild and out of control his entire life…never slept, never sits still, zero impulse control, sensory seeking, destructive…etc etc but it seems she enjoys using that for content and whinging instead of doing something about it…
Ugh the mum life reels are so cringy. And when people comment stuff like “tell your husband to pull his weight, make the kids wait or pick up their toys etc” she gets so uppity and all oh my husband is so involved and helpful. Is he? Because he seems to just make money and knock her up every couple of years. I don’t get it. Either your husband is pulling his weight and you don’t make reels about it or he isn’t. She’s definitely aiming for a go viral video and thinks that will be her niche. But I truly hate the “hahaha my husband does nothing, I’m such a super mum” schtick that so many influencers do.
But it gives a break from the awkward workout videos where she smiles manically while squatting.

This influencer Nat @nat_dee__ on instagram, has her THREE MONTH OLD INFANT in a forward facing car seat.
And her one year old in forward facing too.

She is also selling home made breastfeeding cookies which is illegal but compared to the car seat situation this is actually less evil

---
She is so tiny. And was born prem I think a month early,
How scary is this to see
I know it’s said that when you turn a child they fall a little further below the marker, but she looks well under the ‘must be rear facing if shoulders are below this line’ marker.
And she still has at least part of the infant attachment still in there.
poor baby, I hope she’s never in a car accident. 😢

The front facing car set for a baby is wild. I hope followers messaged her about it. Though maybe she’s the sort who will defiantly ignore legitimate safety concerns.

Not Jamie Reilly struggling with DAY 1 of school holidays in SA. For someone who drops her kids off to her mums numerous times a week, it must be real tough having to look after both kids for whole days and nights. Imagine. 🙄
Wow. So she dumped her kid with her mum cause she was too busy “working” but then films herself buying swimwear, sitting in her car talking about the swimwear then goes to the gym? And seems to be going to Melbourne for the weekend and to Bali without her kids in the school holidays? “I’m going to Melbourne… my trip to Bali”.
Who TF films themselves behaving like this with no insight into how crappy a parent/person it makes them look?

anyone else find it kind of crazy that her ig name is still bubs2bikinis? I know working out is her whole thing but I feel like we’ve all moved on from telling women to bounce back after having a baby and that’s basically all her name is. Just seems very outdated

Tim Robards & Anna Heinrich’s gender reveal, neither look overly thrilled. Must have been going for the pigeon pair 😌
He is so odd.. I definitely think there is something more going on there. He always looks like he's mentally removed from what's going on around him.

I'm equally shocked to hear she has a 3 month old and a 1 year old?! Is the kid closer to 2, because otherwise did she literally get pregnant again the minute the older one popped out?
I have a 6mo and 3yo so in a few mum/baby Facebook groups lol….it’s horrifying how common it is I was so surprised let your body at least begin to heal women 😅😅😅

I do not have kids and I'm not defending just genuinely curious what the difference between forward and rear facing is? Is it a safety thing?

Their necks cannot hold their head so I’m most accidents, your body and head are thrown forward. It can lead to their necks snapping from the weight of their head with the force from the accident. The baby is 6 months old not 3 months but still tiny and looks like she was premmie. Nowhere near the height markers for the seat she’s in. My kids rear faces until somewhere around 14-15 months and they probably could have done a bit longer. Plus newer seats easily rear face until 2/3 years old.

Yep. In an accident where the child is forward facing, it can cause catastrophic injury and death. Head, neck and shoulders are thrown forward, even in a side on collision they are still thrown around in the seat.
When they are rear facing, that body load in an accident is hugely reduced, and the seat itself absorbs the impact- not the child’s body. It also retains the child’s spine, pelvis and head in a neutral position, reducing the risk of severe injury (or death).
The saying goes broken neck = casket. Broken leg = cast it. Any child can be injured in a car accident. But having them rear facing means they’re 100x more likely to actually survive and not sustain life threatening injuries or disability.
A child’s skeleton undergoes huge, huge changes until age 3/4. Australia laws are so, so behind where we legally “allow” children to forward face from 6 months. Age 4 is recommended, and seats are designed to go as long as possible. There are always exceptions and parental justification such as car sickness or intolerance- extremely rarely (without a genetic condition) is the child Actually *too tall* 🤦🏻‍♀️ you’ll hear that a lot.
This is a really good video about it to visualise the difference:
Similarly, children should be boostered until they are at least 9 years old, or 145 cm standing AND pass the 5 step test. Adult seatbelts are designed for a minimum of 145cm height, and while it’s “legal” to have a child using a lap sash seat belt with no booster from age 7, it’s not recommended. i’ve seen it be the difference between a 9 year old child walking out of a wreckage being in a booster seat, or being quadriplegic.
Best practice doesn’t always align with laws which is very unfortunate.

On a snark point, it’s extremely disappointing to see people with platforms not advocating or educating about car seat safety. It literally is life or death.

I just got asked when my eldest can come out of a car seat and I said at least a couple of years as they are nowhere near 145 cms. I’d rather they be safe and comfortable.

My son is almost 9 and only 137cm. He asks every day when he can come out of his carseat and I say "I'd rather you be embarrassed and alive, than the alternative"

Not helped by the fact the dad has him out of the seat and sitting the front seat regularly 🙄

Feels lol… we’re still rear facing at almost 3 and if one more person asks infront of her when she can forward face I’ll cry 😂 They are more bothered than she is she doesn’t know any different 🙄

I feel like since he changed the account name to his own he's definitely trying to step into the influencer space. I liked when his account was just the silly Kath & Kim memes 😅

(I haven’t managed to get through these threads so apologies if I’m repeating anyone’s previous comments.)

As a woman who grew up with undiagnosed ADHD, I believe Indy Clinton shows a lot of symptoms. I think her chaotic, fast-talking edits are actually an accurate representation of her daily life. She’s chronically overwhelmed by mundane, household tasks yet the chaos of her home doesn’t seem to bother her as much as it would the average person. It’s also clear she loves being with her children and really embraces the fun parts of parenting.

However, I think she sees so much of herself in her son that she is missing the obvious: his behaviour is out of the ordinary.

There have been countless critical comments under her videos about her son’s behaviour and how she handles him. Or tongue-in-cheek: ‘This kid is my daily birth control.’ But it really isn’t so funny if this is a little kid with an undiagnosed issue that is already being labelled a ‘bad kid.’

There have also been multiple comments on her videos of people gently mentioning ADHD. I vaguely remember she responded to questions about ADHD testing for herself and Navy and she didn’t seem keen on the idea at all.

Ordinarily I would never comment on someone else’s potential diagnosis. But this is putting a (potentially) neurodivergent kid online for content, where he’s called a ‘demon child’ by thousands of people.
