Victoria Divine is so exhausting. Surely she is aware of daycare costs as a financial advisor and wealth / budget expert or whatever the duck her qualifications are… This life for us regular people sis, welcome.
Yes she’s aware, she’s been on rants about it pre-pregnancy! It is a ridiculous amount of money. I wonder if they earn too much and don’t get the subsidy? I know she mentioned it here in passing, but it’s not really $50k a year for five days, it’s $25k.

Even if these big brands gift wealthy people baby items why can't they gift two so the person can do a give away! I say baby items specifically as they are so expensive and these influences seem to be able to afford them already!
They all just pick their friends anyways with the giveaways lol

I don’t trust Insta giveaways/comps anymore. I have an acquaintance who is a regular joe like you and me but she has a very perfectly curated Jesus loving, white, blonde, blue eyed, Amsterdam filtered Instagram account. The amount of ‘random’ giveaways she wins (at least 20 in the last year or so) means you know that these brands do not do a lucky draw. They go through the entries and find the most perfectly curated Instagram accounts to show off their products. duck them all.
This is also true. There’s an account I know that is ALWAYS winning competitions and surely that one person can’t be that lucky lol

She is constantly flaunting her wealth yet complains about costs that regular, not wealthy people endure on a regular basis. Shut up Victoria, you know you can afford it just fine, just like you could afford the cot you're iMpOrTiNg and the gifted baby carrier. Gift it to someone who needs it.

He is so odd.. I definitely think there is something more going on there. He always looks like he's mentally removed from what's going on around him.
Tbh I think this is the case for both of them..

Are people seriously paying that much a day

in Adelaide we have some centres that would at max about $140 a day these are your more “elite” places but the franchise chain type ones average around $112 a day
Typically pay more where everything is supplied and less if you suppose nappies or your own lunches and there is also family day care

Also you moron people with 3 kids under school age typically find it cheaper to get a nanny than use child care

alsoalso surely you would know you would be very close to the subsidy threshold - alot of Australians get it but not everyone because they earn too much

also gifted childcare I don’t think is a thing so sorry vicky d, you’ll have to pay or his up fsmily to raise your child

I think it's just plain naïveté, for all of her financial nous/advice/expertise - the reality is very different when you have children. You will not necessarily still prioritise Botox or beauty appointments with the same fervour because you have different priorities. It's not to say parents go without completely, but you cannot live the same life you did before children (unless you're quite wealthy). It's hard to explain but hopefully you all get my point.

Okay what’s going on with Eleanor Pendleton? First the semi-grifted I MEAN SEMI-GIFTED stay (meaning she reached out to the hotel for a freebie and they declined and offered a discount instead) and now she’s flogging Michael Hill?

There’s no chance in hell she’d ever shop there - her whole schtick is meant to be high end brands and has previously promoted Natalie Marie Jewellery and Georg Jenson so this feels off brand for her. Might be more believable if she actually followed them?

She’s now one of the grifters you can’t trust - I notice her followers have fallen under 100k during her recent holiday so assume others are feeling that way too.

Lol I don’t know anyone with 3 kids who has a nanny and definitely the average where I live for daycare is $150- $180 a day. I’m not surprised by the prices she’s quoted but I am surprised by her tone deafness of how the average person survives with all these expenses

That looks like a whole rabbit 🐇 hole I need to go down lol 😂
It’s an entertaining rabbit hole that’s for sure, she’s just gone on another trip away without her kids. Not the first time she’s done it and definitely won’t be her last as her kids are not her priority

Yup!! Especially in Sydney and Melbourne. I’m shocked you can get somewhere for as low as $112! Even when we first had a child in childcare seven years ago it was $125. Now we pay $152 and supply food. I’m not in a major city either 😵💫

Oh and lol at choosing somewhere cheaper. You book in when they’re born and take what you’re offered because there’s no places anywhere 🫠
