The GC is actually quite an impossible place to live without a car. There isn’t really functional public transport. If you work and hang in your suburb exclusively, it’s probably fine, but suburbs are spaced quite far apart and you need to get on this one highway to travel between many areas. Traffic can be really bad. It weirdly seems to take 40 minutes to get anywhere by the time you get out on the highway and then back off. I don’t live there but I have relatives that do and the traffic and driving is painful for me when I visit — and I live in Sydney, which is hardly a driving paradise! I can see why they would find it a bit restrictive with just one car if they have separate places to be. I’m not saying Ellie isn’t privileged, just that I can understand it would be pretty inconvenient. Say if one of you had an appointment or you had to take the kids somewhere while the other was at work.
Yeah I lived in GC for years and you definitely need a car, unless you live in Broadbeach or surfers and don’t leave often…public transport isn’t great and definitely not cheaper than running a car!
I wonder where Vinny fits into all this? Adding full time carer of an adult with special needs to two under 3 would be so challenging. Does anyone follow the subtle mummy Zoe? She has said that she doesn’t need to declare a paid ad because she did a post together with the beauty company. That doesn’t declare paid ads! Anyone can collaborate on a post with anyone. It just means the video is on both pages. She is shocking at declaring stuff and does anything to get around declaring it. So dodge.
