She’s all for increasing wages and fair pay but when looking at less than £25/hr (40hr week, if they’re 8-6 it’d be >£20) for someone to take care of her two children who need constant supervision, feeding, nappies changing while providing the setting, equipment, facilities etc she doesn’t like it.
If she were a lower earner she’d be entitled to support, earning over £100k puts her in the top 4%. She could put anything over that into a pension to bring her below £100k and get the free spaces, but we know our Ash would never work the system (hello help to buy scheme).
(I’m not saying I agree with the system but she’s only got her own naivety to blame that she’s now facing this)
Betting she’ll get a Nanny/Au Pair to save money for a year rather than considering the best environment for Alf. Conveniently they’ll be able to start ASAP and she won’t have to do until Sept with the kids by herself after all.
