As I sit here pinned to the sofa by a baby 24 hours older than #Ad, fighting off the pits of PND, I really didnāt need to read that her falling quiet on your chest is a sign that she āknows her mamaā and itās āhomeā. My new daughter wouldnāt stop roaring on mine. Does that mean she doesnāt know Iām her safe space? Thanks for the lovely dark rabbit hole for my intrusive thoughts to go down. Something to dwell on in the night feeds that Iām also meant to cherish when itās just us.

The birth of her daughter will always be seen through rise tinted glasses, no matter what happened and she'll always speak in a derogatory way about her son and his birth.
That's not a "home" where one child is cast aside and not a single flying duck is given about him. As much as she'll prefer Ad because she's a girl, she'll soon discard her too as she hasn't got a clue how to be a decent mother. Her son is raised by childminders, NNB, and an iPad.
She honestly makes me angry. Even her birth is set up because of the backdrop, you know she instantly imagined the Instagram pictures.

Itās my second rodeo with PND so Iām drawing (some) strength from believing that this DOES pass, it wonāt last forever and if I keep saying it out loud, I wonāt be buried and isolated by itā¦I hope that makes sense! Iāve finally unfollowed today - youāre absolutely right, no good is coming of me watching this parallel experience - sheās irked me my entire pregnancy and now it just makes me feel crap even though I know full well itās all bullshit!!
Share a bit more about Adaās birthā¦ what additional info do we know? We knew about the f*****s. We knew about the low lying placenta. Where did she think she was to come out of? The top part of her tummy? She is not the first mother to have a low lying placenta. Sheās realised thereās a lack of drama to her birth story so sheās honing in on that part.
