A few things I have thought recently:
- they don’t seem to have accepted the poor little girl is dead. I get they want to keep her memory alive, but people saying things like ‘she’ll only turn one once’ in response to the absolutely distasteful cemetery party are likely not helping. She didn’t turn one,yes it was her birthday, but she didn’t turn one. You’ll never be able to grieve properly if you don’t accept the person is dead. Not saying it’s easy, of course it isn’t.
- the cemetery party - no, just no. Have some bleeping respect for the families also grieving their loved ones. Plus, it’s just bizarre, let’s be honest.
- the fact that they posted so much on social media obviously got a lot of attention but I am baffled by the amounts donated by people and how strangers are so over the top about the little girl. The sad truth is, babies die every day. It is awful. Parents all over the world are dealing with terrible things that will break them, change their lives forever, tear them apart in some cases. Far better to donate to charities doing actual research into child diseases rather than one being set up by someone with absolutely no experience in this field and who seems to be taking the opportunity to use every meeting as a posing opportunity. It’s madness. The other thing about it is that, very sadly, people will forget. Not her family or their friends obviously, but people on ig etc. The cash donations will stop at some point, it’s just how it is. Life goes on for everyone else, people just stop caring about people they don’t know.
the whole sorry journey of that little girls death is horrific, sadly though, they are now just turning it into a carnival.
as for the comment on this post - presumably the bench wasn’t painted orange to commemorate the death of Azalyia, it was just an orange bench. What next, see the oranges in the supermarket and decide azalyia is there too? bleeping hell.
