It costs £20,000 to set up a charity.. you can google it, and I do find it strange that they didn’t donate the money as there are many children who pass away with the same illness or could have benefited from the at least a portion of the money. I see Saf put something up on Instagram today regarding the charity.. hmm I think someone is ready this thread.


& we all felt awful saying how distant he was at the funeral … her own mother says the same? I heart aches for Saff

I didn’t even realise it was Safs mom who spotted all the signs I could have sworn Ashley said it was him noticing a bruise and taking her to hospital but Safs mom just said they were 2 hours away in Manchester and she knew immediately something was wrong with Azaylia how awful that must have been

Yeh I agree I hope she has permission it’s awful to see at all. But if Saf and Ash had no input it’s not good that baby needs some peace xx

Agreed. But why on earth were so many other photos and videos of that amazing baby taken.I can’t ever imagine seeing your child/loved one in so much pain and distress and thinking oh I know let’s get my phone take pics/recordings. And then I’ll even have the wherewithal to post it to millions of complete strangers. I would not even be able to locate my phone let alone work it

I think if she had been shut out of Safs life for whatever reason. She is fighting back and reminding them that she was there etc. Not excusing it at all it’s awful. But if her mother is desperate,angry and grieving herself then maybe bad attention is better than nothing.I hope that is a reason and not just sheer spite towards her Daughter.

I’m just going to play devils advocate in the sense that she seems to believe that Ashley is all about the show and celebrity and forgetting to show love and care.

She’s clearly trying to show that she was and is a caring mum and grandmother who’s been cut out of her granddaughters last days and funeral etc and she’s trying to show that what is put out there isn’t necessarily all totally true. Now I’m not saying any of it is right but they all share a lot on social media (probably too much) but she’s obviously heart broken at losing her daughter and granddaughter and going a really bad way about it.

Ultimately though , I know she’s the grandmother but it isn’t really her place to be posting those photos I dont think , not saying I agree with all that was posted before azalia passed , but as parents that was there decision .

I’ve only just come across Saf’s Mum’s Insta… Just horrific!! The pics and videos of her own grandchild are bad enough, but posting the freshly-dug grave of a stranger? Is this not just plain weird???
She seems very fame/attention hungry to me.

It doesn’t really cost to set up a charity but it is a very very long arduous process and far more complex then they would have realised. They will need a board of trustees who are financially and legally responsible for anything going wrong or the charity being mismanaged and just setting up a charity bank account takes time. I very much doubt he will be taking a wage from it, that’s just not how new, small charities work. They should absolutely have donated it to an existing children’s cancer charity, there are so many doing incredible work who could have quickly got those funds to projects or people who need them already

Must add I absolutely feel for them and I know they just want to do something in their daughters name, as so many parents who lose a child do

I don’t understand how they’ve got such a huge plot for Azaylia. She was literally a tiny baby but it’s a full-on massive garden she has? Do you pay for the size or have they just made the garden that big themselves?

I have a relative in the cemetery where she is laid to rest. I've visited a few times since Azaylia has passed. The first thing you see when driving into the cemetery is Azaylias resting place. It was small and I believe they've just made it as big as they can until they are told off for it i guess. I was there once whilst they were there and they were extending it at the time. It dominates the cemetery it really does.

Saf really needs her mom and I really hope to god she isn’t being influenced/stopped from being with her. It’s all so desperately sad

Probably not never look as if they are or have ever been short of a penny. They are clearly taking advantage of their extra followers by the looks of it

I think she thinks she can get away without declaring it as an AD too which is naughty.

Whilst I feel for them that they have lost their beautiful daughter, I have had to unfollow them. My reasons for this are
1. The constant "Let's go champ" is odd.
2.ashley making videos of himself with his top off on the edge of a rock
3. Where is ashley supporting saff? Literally after azaylia passed away he was off everyday on bike rides without her.
4. I found the loud music totally disrespectful in a graveyard. This is a place of rest not a place to have a party. Wrong!!

The 'lets go champ' was always cringe and was NEVER their phrase to claim. It belongs to Shannon Briggs the boxer.

I didn't realise that. I mean more the marquee, the flowers, decorating the hall, the fireworks, the catering etc . I guess it could all have been gifted but they did say they were using money from the go fund me to pay for the funeral. It's just looked like it would have cost a lot of money and I appreciate they wanted to have a celebration of her life, If they weren't gifted then its going into thousands of pounds and I think those funds should have been kept for donating treatment to another child or children.

The breakdancing at your daughter's funeral was what got me shocked!!! not something i think i'd ever find myself doing at ANYONE'S funeral let alone a child.
