I do like them both. I can't even imagine the pain they are in . But I do feel saf is not supported. I also wonder why her and her mam fell out. I wish she had her mam by her side.

If my baby died, I wouldn’t give two flying fucks what anyone thought of me and how I was grieving. If I wanted to celebrate my baby’s birthday next to their grave then I would. Yes there are other graves there but they’re not having a party everyday/week and if it helps them then let them be.
They may only have a short period of time where they can decorate the grave and so they’re making the most out of it.
Yes it put yourself in the other mourners shoes, how would you feel if you’ve just buried someone or you’re even visiting someone that you lost years ago and that’s happening? There are people that would see that and feel intimidated and uncomfortable, so what they should miss out visiting someone they lost so you can throw a party at a resting site? I don’t see the people who lost family members in 9/11 throwing parties at the memorial, why? Because it morally isn’t right and okay

It's all a bit of a mess isnt it?! Imagine as a mother, watching your daughter lose her daughter & because everything is all blasted on social media, it just looks messy. We (the audience) are just trying to make sense of a jigsaw puzzle using pictures they post, stories they post and hearsay of he said she said. Unless you're a fly on the wall in their front room, no one will really know what is going on between the family. I never watched ex on the beach and I didnt even know who Ashley & Saffiya were until Azaylia was in her final days so I can't really comment, however, I agree with other comments. Ashley looks like he is existing. He is using exercise to try and keep his mind focused but one day he's gonna break - and that's fine. It doesnt look like he has really grieved at all. Instead he's just buried it and exercises every single day hoping to push it down even more. Slaps a smile on his face that doesnt quite meet the eyes and posts a few pictures and "lets go champ" stories. Saffiya on the other hand, she's broken. Poor girl can't even go to Asda & do her food shop without being triggered. I really feel for her. She's riding the grief train and I wouldn't be surprised if she had PTSD as well. The trauma of watching your baby suffer like that, especially as she did in her final days.

I am all for raising awareness, however there is a time and place. No one needed to see Azaylia in her final moments. Who even thinks to get their phone out to record while your rushing your very poorly child to hospital?! It's wild to me, but I suppose it's the world we live in these days. Zero privacy and everything is for likes, follows and shares.

Out of all the Instagrammers whose lives have afforded them Influencer status, I begrudge Safiyya the least.
Some become known through sex tapes, because they are marketing masterminds, do TV shows etc. Others enter into the public eye through more tragic circumstances, and if this makes life a bit easier for the time being, as working 9 to 5 whilst grieving is bound to be difficult, and gives a bit of light or even structure then who I am to judge if it's taken with both hands?
I wouldn’t even expect her to go to work full time this soon after loosing azalyia she’s at the beginning of her grief although there’s no end time, I know a single mum of 3 who lost her son she couldn’t work and ended up homeless she had to sell furniture and sleep on her friends floor nobody gave her a thing to build her life Back up so why is it that influencers get gifted all this shit when Joe public suffers as well

Ashley really doesn't come across well at all I don't think, especially on the Giovanna podcast. He keeps answering questions that were asked of Saffiya and seems very controlling, making decisions for Saffiya eg the c section.

I really think he ought to think about the way he presents himself if he wants to have a future in the public eye.

More begging
Jesus he’s not the only person to have ever rode this journey many many people have done so for charity or pleasure. Pretty sure he can afford a massage if he’s so desperate for one or use his gifted massage tools fgs! enrages me all this bloody begging under the guise of wanting help finding something.

He probably was... Coming back to the house your daughter died in. You can see why he'd wanna be out all day.
Saf needs him to be there for her too. When is he supporting her? She’s been on her story in the middle of the night broken multiple times.. Where’s he? You would roll over into your partner for support, not your phone. It was her uncle and brother pulling her out of bed to go to the gym in the early days etc it still is now. Ashley is too busy thinking about himself.

People are absolute freaks setting up accounts with a child's photo that they don't even know. I do not have a child yet but have told my husband if we have one, their image will not be shared on our social media accounts or on family pages. We have private accounts but FB/ig still own your photos and can sell them to whoever they want. Some people's kids pics have ended up on horrific items.

There

Theres somethings I agree and some I don’t, I will always stick to my opinion with the party at the grave yes they are grieving but so are other families, a bit of consideration wouldn’t go a miss, just because A’s plot stands out doesn’t mean that people are going to be ok with it. Unfortunately they’ve chosen to document every single aspect on social media and people are going to have an opinion about things. Would people be ok with it if it wasn’t Ashley Cain I actually think not
i would 100% be ok with it if it wasn’t Ashley Cain, his celebrity status is utterly irrelevant. When I was grieving hard I had family say things like I don’t think what your doing is right and believe me it hurts because you don’t know what you are doing. You are just getting through the day, trying to keep going. In time I did see some of things I did like keeping every item of my sons clothing, toys etc in his room, sleeping there and spending days lying on his tiny cot bed was not healthy. But it got me through the day at times and that was all I could do. At the time it just felt like I was even grieving wrong. It didn’t help to be told that at the time. Let them be.

I really hope things are different behind closed doors.
The podcast shared above is eye opening. It was actually Ashley who wanted to start a family in the first place.
I’d love nothing more than for Saf to be loved back by Ashley for them someday maybe to even think about continuing and growing their family, but sadly he just seems so uninterested in her 😢 she was filming the van earlier and he could barely look at her or the camera and it’s not like he’s camera shy my heart breaks for her 💔

I thought what they did was vile & filming it to, that Facebook group was a nightmare at the end & should’ve been shut down a long time ago, I know it’s dormant now but it should’ve gone the moment Ashley & Safiya made their statement.
I do stand by my concerns about them both though not out of nastiness but genuine worry & I will stand by my opinion of not agreeing with the party at the cemetery
My feelings completely. I think ultimately Ashley and Saff will be drawing on their support system and rightly so however said support system seems questionable. Saffiyaas brother seems amazing and very supportive. Obviously her mothers behaviour has been shocking but I was also gobsmacked at Ashley's cousins on Instagram. They were literally posing like instahuns at Azaylias funeral, one of them sticking their bum out and getting angles. Unbelievable.

My heart breaks for Saf, her eyes speak volumes. You can see how broken and empty she is without her baby. As a mother to a mother, its ok to grieve, its ok to cry and scream, its ok to feel pain. But dont do things to please others because thats what you think you have to do. Do what YOU need to do.

Ashley on the otherhand, I do feel for him loosing his daughter, but theres just something about him thats quite manipulative but i cant put my finger on it. He is someone i wouldnt put my trust into.

Azaylias grave, what the heck! Its a bloody shrine! Have some decorum, there are other grieving families that go visit loved ones!

I left the group when someone said Old Trafford should be burned down because the team wouldn’t wear an orange armband for a game.
Now, can you imagine the thousands of requests they get week in week out.
I responded to the comment saying how amazing the Manchester United foundation are and the things they did for a terminally ill relative of mine (behind the scenes, not wearing a coloured armband) and my comment wasn’t taken well. There were some very unhinged people on that group.

I had to unfollow them. When saf shared a video when Azaylias nose was bleeding in her final days. I felt extremely uncomfortable, That poor baby had no privacy in life and death. Even my mum mentioned to me she felt there Instagram where a bit much. They need to grieve away from social media, It is not real life
I will never ever ever forget the year we watched a baby pass away on Instagram. It was so inappropriate poor Az had no privacy filmed as she was bleeding where was the dignity. I'm all for raising awareness but as a society it's a mess
Truly true oh heartbreaking

I can't even imagine how I'd react towards my partner though if I lost my whole world. I can't even imagine the grief , what do you talk about ,maybe it's too raw too painful,to
Try and exist alone then together,if it's possible maybe it's not possible. I don't know how the family dynamic is but no matter what how on earth can the mum fall out with her daughter she surely gets a pass ,to be however,to say whatever, her mum is nowhere to be seen,I know we don't see it all,my empathy is so strong towards them, because I followed the journey, but I had to block it a bit too because I couldn't handle the thought of what they were going through,I sobbed the news she passed,it was something that come over me,I struggled for days to get it out my head, that's a grain of salt in a huge pot of salt that they live in,I just can't. The cemetery,a thought that entered my head was the other resting place's,if I was visiting my loved one might I feel intimidated yes,but that's me. I also can't cope with balloons being released because of innocent wildlife being injured - but again ,small grains of salt to me.
As a parent who has lost a child I can tell you myself and now ex grieved completely differently. We grieved separately whilst living under the same roof. I was very open with the whole ordeal where as he was the opposite. He wouldn’t talk to me about his thoughts and feelings and didn’t want to listen to mine. So that was that, 6 months later we split after a decade together.

From what I've heard. Safs brother told someone I know that in the days leading up to azaylias passing (all the disturbing pics and videos of her really poorly and bleeding). Safs mum asked her to stay off the gram and she thought it should be private. Saf is apparently a "diva" and told her mum where to go as she can do what she likes. She then never told her mum the baby has passed and she found out the next day when she turned up to her house. Obviously rumors but something big went on

Putting my 2 pence in because I remember the exact same thing happening with Alfie in Alder Hey Hospital a few years ago. #AlfiesArmy. They had fun days outside the hospital where tonnes of other sick children were trying to rest etc. It’s all fine and well to raise awareness and support - I totally agree but the hoards of people going too far makes it harder for the families to cope with.
See this is what annoys me, no child is more special or more deserving because of who their parents are! Rich poor black white all children should be given the same opportunity and chance

That’s it they are just words she’s saying because she feels like she has to I actually think she doesn’t enjoy the exercise or bike riding she’s doing at all, do you think she’s not allowed to have counselling or consider medication ?
She has said she won’t take medication and I bet that’s not her decision.
I get the feeling Ashley is obsessed with staying strong which means Saf will be made to feel she has to follow his lead.
If Saf shows any sign of depression or desire to take medication she will be made to feel weak. I think the best thing for her right now is to knock all the excessive exercise on the head, if she wants to stay in bed and cry all day she can and not be made to feel guilty about it and go and see a counsellor and maybe takes some meds for the anxiety.
