Does anybody know if Ash and Matty are full brothers? I don’t know where but I read somewhere that they have different mums but, but Ash Mum looks at Matty as her own.
mash dad doesn’t seem to be in the picture much Either

Yes it is sad other people don’t get recognition like Ashley did but it’s not his fault he has a huge following . At the end of the day he needed the money to save his daughters life unless your in that desperate situation then who are you to judge . It’s unfortunate that the day after they found out azaylia had got worst and would not be able to go abroad . But why focus on that when he’s doing something now . This charity will help sick children and with his platform raise more awareness . I don’t agree with everything regarding ash but I know one thing for sure he loved his daughter and is trying to help other sick children . It’s not in anyway his fault that other parents going through the same cannot raise the same fund but that’s the world we live in unfort. But at least he’s trying to help other families the charity has only just started and I’m waiting to see what else they Do . He’s already shared a girls page a couple of times to find a doner this week .
I don’t think anybody has mentioned the reason they made the go fund me unless I’ve missed something. . Or questioned why, Absolutly all of us would do the same, not one person here has judged that at all.
We know that the money was raised with a view to Car T treatment abroad but a cruel
Blow of not being able on the very next day.

My friend died of cancer age 19 she had a newborn baby . For weeks she went to the doctors with a sore throat they gave multiple lots of antibiotics . She went back for two months and when they finally did tests they told her it was throat cancer and she was riddled from head to toe she died a month later . Since that day I’ve never trusted doctors .
Omg thats horrific 😢 so sorry for ur loss & her poor baby 💔 thats so shocking & frightening! 😭

Aw thought so, nice she calls him her son and she is also Nan to his little girl.

But they have the trainers with them. I don’t understand what she adds and especially when she didn’t start with them. Seems odd.
She has been cycling training with them since they started a few months back. Maybe she had work commitments that she could start at same time.
she has been heavily involved in all the cycling since day 1, which was obviously leading to this challenge.
that challenge looked horrifying! They’ve all done so bloody well to complete it in 14 days!

I think what people find unfair or maybe distasteful is the fact that there are so many poorly children who need expensive treatment but no one would know..
Agree, and they have been open and honest about the fact they benefitted from their social capital. Afaik that’s the whole point of the foundation, they had some degree of public profile, gained more through Azaylia’s journey, and want to use that to help other families.

I’m not a lost fan - or an active detractor - just keen on discussing facts rather than wild speculation. It’s a pretty shocking claim to suggest a family are personally profiting off a charitable fund, I’ve repeatedly asked what’s given that impression and it appears to be one £520 Hermes bracelet & their old clothes, old car, and old house? Okay…

I think the next few days will be very telling . I hope they spend some time together 💕 if they don't after being apart for the beat part of 2 weeks it kind of answers all our questions

It's been months since A passed away. They've barely done anything to raise awareness about childhood cancers. That's what is desperately needed. The BBC interview was a start, but the other 99% of their time has been all about Ashley. If they don't have the energy to raise awareness, and who could blame them, then get people to run the foundation and start making a difference. They know more than anyone that every single second counts when fighting childhood cancer. Use that money to save someone's life instead.

I think people question where money goes as it’s happened so many times with money raised I once set up a Gofund me for a local man who my father knows who got mugged of his pension we ended up getting £2k I closed it within 48 hrs and gave family said to transfer to his granddaughter it came to light that she only gave him his pension money fuming wasn’t the word but it was her word against his.

How many families / children could’ve benefited since April

I personally think the go fund me should of been shut down the moment they found out she could no longer get the treatment, the money then should of been donated to a charity, I don’t agree with them using it for the funeral at all, maybe that’s just me. I think the issue with go fund me compared to actual foundations/charities is we truly don’t know where the money goes

I don’t think there is anything untoward either, they were transparent about using some funds to pay for the extras for A funeral, obviously there will be certain things that will have been purchased got this challenge, I’m assuming the bikes, kit, ect, I think maybe we would thought to have seen more children benefiting already. . As it’s been a while since A passed.

Yes it was made clear some funds would be used for the funeral and that definitely can’t have come cheap, it will probably be used for a headstone to once the grounds settled, I can’t imagine they will be allowed to keep the plot that big once the actual turfs in

So they’ve done it! Massive achievement which I couldn’t do I can’t cycle to the corner shop! I hope when we see footage that saf was the first one to get a hug and they spend tonight together then the next few weeks catching up on quality time

The cost of the van cameras food petrol etc will far far exceed any money raised. The costs will be met by the foundation. But the ride will generate the exposure for Ashley that he's been craving his whole life. Thing is, the foundation didn't need any further exposure. They've already got a gigantic platform from which to catapult themselves. This ride is 100% for Ashley and his ego. It's definitely helping him with his grief, but he's obsessed with showcasing himself in every possible way throughout.
They’ve raised over 50k, the costs won’t be that high. I know people don’t like it but charities do spend money to raise money, so a few thousand on hotels food and travel to raise 50k+ is not a bad return. The sticky bit here is that people donated to one thing (her medical care) and those donations are potentially being used for something else. People might not like that aspect but if you donate £1 and it turns into £5 because they’ve invested your £1 into fundraising more…it’s not such a bad thing

I feel so sorry for Saf! The whole thing when baby A came home was an absolutely awful, undignified circus but I can’t blame her, I think she was swept along with it all in her grief. She seems like a nice girl but so vulnerable. I’m totally sick of the Ashley Show. He reminds me of my ex- 100% narcissist.

She’ll be the last one to get a hug! He barely notices her! 😥

Gosh, me too, it will be wonderful for her to be standing at the top of that bank and he scoops her up 🤞🤞🤞
I really wish them all the love and happiness possible, tragic tragic circumstances. I think I probably speak for a lot of us here, when I say it was an incredibly hard and emotional time watching Azaylia. . And that they can find some peace.
Hope that Ashley proves us all wrong and steps up to the challenge of rebuilding his relationship and supporting Saf. ❤

Completely agree that gofundme is the Wild West of the internet and there’s a lot of high profile grifters, but it feels incredibly uncomfortable to see grieving parents tarnished with that brush with absolutely no evidence? I would be horrified if they’d started buying luxury vehicles, moved into a bigger house, etc etc but they appear to just be plodding along so not sure why they’re receiving the level of venom from some of the contributors on this thread. Not sure if they know either as they’ve not yet shared the evidence for it?

And on the charity’s finances, it’s common for charities to hold large cash balances & even investment accounts to grow that money. I would be more concerned if they jumped to action straight away & gave all the money away immediately tbh.
