I live in the same town. They live on an ‘ok’ estate. I’m not convinced it’s detached either, I might be wrong.

They obviously have a different set up to other families as he’s earnt whatever he’s earnt in the past to acquire assets like the car & the wardrobe which he could then liquidate when they needed cash to get them through this year? With all due respect every family’s circumstance is different and it’s not as if they were out of work asking for people to pay their hospital parking or food shop, they’ve been self sufficient in that regard all money was for treatment and now had gone into a charitable trust?
There are two financial stories here - 1) the foundation and the donated funds, which I agree with everyone else here need to be spent on charitable endeavours not PR or ego puff pieces or personal play things (van, bikes, etc) and 2) their personal domestic finances. The two may cross wrt salaries out of the charity but we’re not at that point in time yet. Nothing in their personal life screams excess or as if they’ve gained a better quality of life following the gofundme, I think it’s grossly unfair to suggest so as there’s not even the slightest of indications of that - and there’s not to say there won’t be in the future but
lordEveryone that actually believes they haven’t profited from the go fund me is so naive it’s painful. And the fact is it’s disgusting that all of this is off the back of their dead daughter, yes they’re broken and they’d rather her be here, what bleeping parent wouldn’t? But to then profit of off the situation in the way they have, the money, the gifted tit is just ridiculous. The harsh reality is, this isn’t a special case, there has been so many Azaliyas and there will be many, many more. This foundation wasn’t about her legacy for Ashley, nor was it about raising awareness for childhood cancer or sharing other stories, this was about securing his image in the public eye. This is a man who has been trying to worm his way into the spotlight for many years and by the sounds of it, completely mugged Saf of the whole time if they’ve been together as long as it’s been claimed. I have a friend who’s cousin is currently dying from cancer, she’s 9, you’ve not heard about it because her parents are just normal people like me and you.
They are not a normal family. When they were first asking for donations, little Baby A was dressed in Moschino baby grows etc. Have you not seen what the couple wear too? Head to toe in designer gear.

I don’t understand why they’re being attacked how they spent their household’s money before she was born or unwell? Genuine question but are people annoyed that the gofundme ever existed because they perceive Ash & Saff to have been in a *personal* financial position to cover that treatment?
Re: the funds charities are heavily regulated and audited to a higher degree than normal companies. If there is ever any fraud it would hopefully be spotted, but I don’t know why this is being assumed when absolutely nothing in their lifestyle suggests they’re financially up?
Is this the only item that has raised suspicions (genuine question)? At £500 it feels like it’s in the range of what they could usually spend prior to the gofundme…? She’s not suddenly acquired a ton of Birkins and a glam squad?
I don’t think they live a lavish lifestyle . I have flash trainers and Gucci bags and I ain’t rich . Believe it or not my £800 trainers have lasted me ages because I look after them . Everything they have could have been what they had before azaylia was poorly . I don’t agree at all that they live lavish . They have a basic home and cars . He earned a lot in the past so Why shouldn’t he have shown it off . I think ash and saf are both suffering in grief separately but I don’t think for one minute they live over the top and show off !!

I won’t repeat her name on this thread but take TNM for example she’s been abroad for three weeks cashing in on her sons death selling T-shirt’s with his face on . Ashley and saf have not done anything like that instead They are actually focusing on a charity which I genuinely do believe will help many people you can clearly see they are passionate about this charity despite how they are with each other right now . Their hearts are in the right place focusing on helping other children .

I obviously don't know the actually reason. But I do know she trained with them and does train everyday with them . I don't know the ins and outs. I think what people find unfair or maybe distasteful is the fact that there are so many poorly children who need expensive treatment but no one would know... and Ashley abd Saff managed to raise it based on the fact let's face it, they are a good looking insta worthy couple, had a good following on insta to start with based on Ashley's background on reality TV and it just took off. In reality most parents would have a period of compassionate leave and would have to return to their day jobs whether that be teaching, shop assistant, emergency services, carer, cleaner etc because they have a mortgage to pay and bills to pay. Ash and Saff haven't returned to work yet but I think people might find it a bit distasteful that they are asking for free things such as beauty treatments etc. All the hotel stays will come out of the money raised on the bike ride for the charity. I think people aren't attacking them but something doesn't sit right really. Someone I know goes on all these trekking holidays raising money for a charity. They pay for the trekking holidays out of the money raised for the charity. I go on the same trekking holidays. I don't raise money but I pay for the holiday by saving up myself because I want the experience and I think it just doesn't sit right with some people that they use the money to go off and have a fun time on a trek and why they don't use their personal money to pay for it from their job. Ash and Saff obviously like designer items and the finer things in life and I think people are just wondering how they are still fundung their normal life. That's all.

This is going to sound harsh but I would absolutely hate if one of my family members grave was near As. I just think it is so excessive. Imagine the other parents who have children there, probably makes them feel tit.
Yes it is sad other people don’t get recognition like Ashley did but it’s not his fault he has a huge following . At the end of the day he needed the money to save his daughters life unless your in that desperate situation then who are you to judge . It’s unfortunate that the day after they found out azaylia had got worst and would not be able to go abroad . But why focus on that when he’s doing something now . This charity will help sick children and with his platform raise more awareness . I don’t agree with everything regarding ash but I know one thing for sure he loved his daughter and is trying to help other sick children . It’s not in anyway his fault that other parents going through the same cannot raise the same fund but that’s the world we live in unfort. But at least he’s trying to help other families the charity has only just started and I’m waiting to see what else they Do . He’s already shared a girls page a couple of times to find a doner this week .
He was a professional footballer before he was on reality TV !
He hasn’t played for a team since 2012. And let’s not act like he was known for being a footballer before the reality tv
