Ok, but what does that mean? What is the money being spent on? They could raise awareness by sharing stories with their millions of followers on social media, or by doing more interviews and podcasts but that doesn’t cost money. Will they be doing advertising campaigns, donating to research, to facilities at hospitals and hospices? It’s not enough to say “we’re going to help”. At some point there needs to be transparency about what people’s donations are actually doing.

Long time lurker, first time commenting. I literally could have thrown up this morning watching that blonde girl on Ashley’s stories go in for that hug, have ahh if you watched her stories?? She is clearly infatuated by Ashley and has gone to get his attention and not for support! I don’t understand why they are letting baloons off every night! Why do one good thing followed by a mound of bad things! Such a shame because I did follow their journey but now all I see is poor Saf being treated as if she doesn’t exist and Ashley being treated like he’s some sort of God
lol what I don’t understand is they’ve raised all this money and people at the beginning of this thread said just wait until the foundation is launched before making judgment! Ok the foundation is launched we are non the wiser where all this money has gone! There was a child needing 200k for her treatment shouldn’t she have got 200k from the foundation ?
1.6M has not all been spent on bike rides, buckets, McDonald’s and hotel rooms. I absolutely agree, that there needs to be more transparency around how the money is being spent. And 20K to Birmingham children’s hospital was a joke.
The sooner this cycle is done with the better, but Ashley will be onto his next quest for stardom with Saf being further pushed to the side. That blonde girls stories are absolutely CRINGEWORTHY. Why are these people flocking in their droves to meet a Z lister? Actually he’s not even on the alphabet scale, to me a Z lister is someone who appeared on love island or a big show like that and has fame for a few months. Ashley was on eotb which very little people would have watched and only really got more known through having a sick daughter. He just sickens me, as do these wasters out giving him an even bigger ego!
I’m sure that was less than 2% of funds raised they gave to BCH! The bikes were free and everything else seems to have been gifted
I wonder how much the funeral was… they had loads. Balloons, throne bench, a really fancy set up. Probably used an events set up type thing. Photographer. Etc All costs money.

She’s going to crash, she drove to Edinburgh and then was up till 2am on lives…that’s draining enough as it is not to mention the mental hardship she’s going through right now. I still don’t think they have spent even 100K out of the 1.6M and they raised 50K last week. Everything has been a show, from start to finish. The way they documented the poor child dying, it should have been private. And at that point, I couldn’t stand them both. But I’ve since warmed to Saf. But when you think about him breakdancing at the funeral. Playing Luther Vandross at the grave yard, with phones out and dancing, and OTT grave decorations, now this, Messiah & endless cycling with confetti thrown on him and bull motivational speeches. You can see it’s been about him all along. It rubs me up the wrong way rotten when he says “my daughter”. So God knows what it makes Saf feel like.

The fact they stayed there n separate hotel rooms. She stayed in a room with two single beds. One remained unoccupied the whole night. She was talking about Ashley and the boys having massages somewhere (I’m assuming in their separate rooms) and how she wanted one but had no idea what was going on. Bless her she stayed up drinking irn bru, Pepsi and tea cakes with us on Instagram live. One thing I will say though is that she’s GREAT at ignoring negative messages. She won’t even entertain the trolls or acknowledge them. Inside it must hurt though.
Exactly there’s no control over who says what. Someone did recommend she have a social media cleanse or break which would be great but maybe it’s her coping mechanism. But Regardless as you said it’s part and parcel of having your life out there open to millions to comment and criticise.. sad but true
Saf needs to find her anger. She is so passive. Her latest story “he is doing so good”. No he bleeping isn’t. I feel like I want to hug her and shake her all at once.
It just doesn’t even make any sense. At least try to pretend to give a tit about her and book her into the same hotel. What was the point in her being there if she’s in a different hotel, up on her own at night whilst Ashley and the team eat together, Stay in the same hotel and get massages. He might as well just tell her to not come along at all the way he is acting isn’t far off that
No matter what they feel now they were BOTH her parents and they BOTH run the foundation, it’s just super odd to be staying in seperate hotels and not even having meals together as part of the foundation team even if it’s not as a couple
Ohh she just said from tomorrow there is going to be a new recruit! Is she going to be allowed to join for parts of it. I really, really hope so, as I think it will give her a distraction and help her feel a real part of it, which she obviously wants.
I hope it is. After the whole she can’t do it just for the last leg talk, it would be hypocritical to let someone else hop on at the end.
If however she is allowed I think it will be because it’s been pointed out how bad this has looked rather than them wanting it
