To be fair, this comment was made under the video where Anna wished happy Women's Day to her followers (and talked about her menstrual cycle). Women's Day is a big deal in Eastern Europe, we get flowers and chocolates from men (not only partners but dads, brothers, students etc.) and we congratulate each other as well, my mom and I always do it. So I understand why she wasn't happy that Anna didn't offer her wishes.
As for the wedding, maybe she didn't comment because she knew it was a scam. Or maybe she did but it was deleted quickly

I think that her mother should be commended on getting an university education in a foreign language, let alone in the field of law which is one of the toughest ones I believe. She earns an honest living, has built a life in a foreign country, raised a child all by herself at least for a while until she got married. I can't recall the specific terminology for them in English rn might be juris, but our Erin Raty might be one of those who went through law school, but isn't able to represent people in court and is only able to do legal consulting.

In order for her to be a lawyer and not a juris she would have to pass the bar or have gone through an apprenticeship under a lawyer, or maybe both depending on country.

Mother's day is celebrated on different dates by different countries. Mother's day in Sweden is held on the last Sunday in May, in Russia - the last Sunday of November. Raty family should celebrate either of those dates (if not both), we will need to keep an eye then.

I know some amazing moms who are 'trained' to use digital channels to some extent, but then whenever they do something that's relatively unknown for them, they comment under a public page tagging their son in a personal text, thinking that they're DM'ing directly, etc. others just.... like to comment online, and there's nothing you can do (weird boundaries or perception of social media let's say, as their own social media circle is limited to their village). I had a boss who's Aija's mom's age and she would have a mini panic attack when posting on LinkedIn, not to mention she could not comprehend the most simple things like what does share and repost mean, or why the website menu has to have texts and not the pictures. In Sweden there is a difference between jurist and advokat. Both have the same education but advokat is a member of the advokat association and has passed their test. We never know what happens behind closed doors and we have no way to know if her upbringing really is responsible for Aija turning out the way she did. However, she has more than once hinted that she had no life (her exact words), her upbringing was very strict and her family didn't support her dreams (by what I guess she means they didn't support her chasing the jetsetbabe lifestyle). Aija went to a very good school in Stockholm and I somehow am inclined to believe that her mother was pretty old-fashioned by the Swedish standards, expected her daughter to get a good education and to live just a regular, comfortable life. Basically, just conform to the standard of a happy life. It's a standard for a reason because it does make a lot of people content, I think. But, as we all know, this was not the kind of life Aija wanted.
And just to add: her parents took in her two dogs when she came back from Malta and are still taking care of them. Bad people don't do that, I may be biased.
Sometimes children turn out very differently from their parents. In a bad and also a good way.

I believe that Mama Raty could be strict - she was an immigrant parent after all. She left a post-soviet country searching for a better life for her child and herself. She definitely values education as she got a degree later in life. She sent Anna to a good school despite not having a lot of money. To me it seems like a mother who wants the best for her child. It's understandable that she was upset to learn that her daughter didn't appreciate any of her efforts and her only aspiration in life was to become an escort/sugar baby. I bet Anna would be happy only if she grew up in a mansion with a closet full of birkins.
