Honestly, this. I was on a business trip a few weeks ago in London and wanted to get some dinner and since I arrived the day before the thing I came for, there was nobody to go with. It was very strange for me to go out alone, but nobody gave a tit about me, many were eating a bite on their own after their work day ended. I felt like especially because I was in a big city, nobody actually cared. She should really stop thinking that everyone notices her and constantly monitors her. I doubt anybody even remembers seeing her there. Unless she was again dancing half-naked on a table

In 31 years she’s never eaten alone?! I don’t believe it. If you can’t eat alone you’ll have serious problems in life. I’m currently on a one-month business trip in a city where I know no one and I literally eat alone every single day, and no, I don’t order room service—that I actually find depressing. Instead, I go out! Do people look at me? Of course not! Do they care? Of course not! Sure, there’s no one to talk to and, yes, I do look at my phone sometimes but at the same time, there’s something to be said about being alone in your own thoughts. I also get to pick the restaurant (no negotiation necessary) and can eat at 4 p.m. if I want to! I recommend traveling alone to everyone, especially those who don’t live alone. If you do live alone (I have before) I guess you already have plenty of alone time so you won’t cherish it as much.

I do believe it. She’s had an incredibly sheltered life, lived with parents well into her late 20s, not gone to uni and not had a proper job. Didn’t have to fit in lunch around work, but often meeting people for lunch is considered work in her world.
