I find it off-putting how she had to take a photo of holding her mom's hand to make it a background for her announcement. I also find it off-putting how she flew to Paris for her so-called "bday trip" instead of caring for her mom. her priorities aren't in check and it's bothering me.

It sounds like Alyssa is struggling to come to terms that her parents health issues are worsening and they don’t have a lot of time left.

There’s no separation between her work and life - she literally used her ill mother to shill a sponsored bag. I think her mother would rather have her daughter spend time with her then a bag.

Also, if I was Marco I would tell Alyssa she can go by herself to stay with her parents for however long needed.

If she’s going to be married to him for the rest of his life, I don’t see why he can’t stay in NJ and work, while she cares for her parents as I believe they are still primarily located in the Philippines.

This girl's priorities are so wrong it infuriates me. Marco better watch his back. Because if this is how she treats her sick mother, imagine how she'll treat him whenever he is sick.

There is no way in hell that I would marry someone who would rather spend all their money to keep up with appearances instead of paying off their student loan, credit card debt and a heavy mortgage. Alyssa is the definition of the partner that you should NEVER get involved with.

Who in their right mind opens someone else's present, take pictures of it and put it on their wardrobes door handle?!

She could have easily made a video of her delivering the present to her mother or her mother's reaction opening the present. However, we all know that the bag isn't for her mother's usage. Which is why she did the unboxing.

What a clown. Like you said, we all know she lives in NJ. There’s nothing wrong with living in NJ (I’m a Jersey girl myself), but she’s just projecting a life that’s not hers. There’s nothing luxe about where she lives (I was shocked when I found out), nor does she actually go to fun/cool places in NJ. Seeing that she put NYC in her bio has just annoyed me. What’s funny about this is that there’s real wealth in NJ, but she’s just such a poser that she wouldn’t even know.

Agree with you completely! I have family in NJ and yes there’s great places in NJ too. Other influencers like Greylayers I know write NYC/NJ in their bio and I think that would’ve been more accurate for Alyssa. I just really hate how she’s erasing so many of the real parts of her life to portray this fake persona.

She strikes me as someone who hasn’t grown up from her Tumblr college days.

It’s important to acknowledge Alyssa grew up in a conservative Filipino household. It was probably instilled from both family and church that you find a suitable man in your early 20s, get married and have kids. Which is why she has mentioned her parents were not at first supportive of her moving in with Marco before marriage. Pre-marital sex and what not lol.

But also, why are people mentioning Cassie being a video vixen? I’m out of the loop it seems.

I call Cassie a video vixen bc it’s nice that saying she dresses like a video ho. I’m trying to be kinder while still getting the message across. I don’t know how she ever held an office job dressing the way she does OR with those atrocious nails. I imagine she dressed more appropriately for the office but she could never hide those nails.

I was about to say the same thing. One of my coworkers is Filipino and she’s SUPER conservative .

I am happy Alyssa’s Mom is recovering. She doesn’t look well from the photos, and any illness at that age can be life threatening.

That said, if Alyssa was so concerned why was she going to Paris for a girl’s trip?! I would stay close to my Mom. Shopping trips can wait, but apparently not for Alyssa. Cue the “She needed to get her mind off of it” but can you imagine choosing to travel for fun and your mother die while you’re gone?! It’s just ick. Also, the Hermes and this particular brand partnership “being special” bc she can gift her Mom a gifted item?! Come on, Alyssa. LIFE IS ABOUT MORE THAN THINGS

Therapy hasn’t done a thing for her outside of having a paid professional help her rationalize her pathetic existence.

I watched Cassie's vlog, and in the background you can hear the sales associate ask Alyssa, "how was the trip?" and Alyssa replied in a really down way, "it was o–" and then Cassie cuts to the next scene. She was definitely going to say "it was okayyyy" lol

Also I find Alyssa's sales associate that she features often very annoying. The way she speaks sounds a little uneducated, constantly saying "like," "cute," limited vocabulary etc, and then at one point saying a shoe trend makes her "sick" (in Cassie's vlog). Kind of unprofessional, but I'm not surprised her and Alyssa clicked lol
