Her annoying Bergdof personal shopper also posted on the same day her blue Hermes “piece” purchase with the similar message from the Hermes SA alerting these fools “how quick/soon can you make it to the store”

Hmm maybe? Can't remember who's fam member was (maybe AL) it that had a wedding at Shang in Boracay that they flew to go to. But that's in PH so makes sense to go there even with an extravagant expensive wedding.

Honestly, sometimes it's cheaper to do it on resorts here. They have a lot of all-inclusive packages here, it's hassle-free. Plus some flights can be bought as is- you save around 30-35%.

If the families are not as loaded or if they planned on giving less than needed Alyssa would have to come back to reality and do it in the US.

Weddings don't even have to be that expensive. She could easily book an expensive restaurant or do it in a luxury hotel in the US.

If she starts her marriage on values that do not align with her husband or his family this could create problems.

Yep, that's how Filipino families are. We are very sensible when it comes to money. Especially in very uncertain times like this. A lot of influencers and celebrities had destination microweddings in Mexico. There are a lot of beautiful venues in NY, NJ and neighboring states.

And yes, I think we would want to start a marriage on strong values. That's why people really wait for a long time to find someone to marry right?

I agree. Something about her style screams “college girl” to me- she is in sweats half the time and making the same boring coffee in the other half. IDK I never feel like she carries the hermes very well.


Plus she got dropped by her agency and hinted at that affecting her emotionally and work wise. It’s clear that she is trying to set up a luxury account for more luxe brands to sponsor her but so far I don’t think she is nailing the aesthetic in a memorable way, and all her stuff looks a bit deliberate, show off ish and “posed”.

Can you share the story about when she hinted that she was dropped by her agency? I had no idea!

Pretty sure she’s either trying to stay relevant as many 20 somethings are gravitating towards more casual style like sneakers and more colourful accessories as opposed to her beige blob faux new money style (not trying to hate I like some of her stuff it’s just not relevant to her Instagram audience) and she’s trying to show she’s “with it”. Yes going for a quick jaunt to France for an engagement shoot ahead of her Italian wedding while most of her viewers are watching from lockdown really rubbed me the wrong way.

She wants a mini Kelly. It’s never going to happen unless her little buddy who works at the Madison Ave Hermes is dumb enough to offer her yet another bag. I’d assume at this point that SA must realize Alyssa isn’t going to be a longtime, lucrative customer.

In all honesty, I don’t feel badly for that SA. They’re trained better than that.

When I watched her first unboxing of her B30, she told a brief story about how she got paired up with an SA and how they hit it off. I've had my suspicions that she put out some feelers that she was an "iNflUeNcEr" and that's why she got offered her B30 because she was gonna shoot content on it because there was no way she was gonna get offered that sought after bag.

Why the secrecy though, Alyssa? I was super hopeful that you'll give out good wedding content, but now it seems like it's happening!

also, pretty disappointed how she's not posting content about her wedding when she said she would. I think people know that weddings are stressful and planning to have it halfway around the country is added pressure.

Looking at her wedding planner's events done.. alyssa wouldn't even have the budget for wedding that fancy. That would've been at least half her house value easily. To think she met up few times with Paulina in Paris and wasted her time. Hope she got compensated for that

her weddings/events are INSANE they are so gorgeous. I'm curious as to why she privated her wedding planning videos when it can get her more views for potential weddings (& promote paulina, but I don't think she needs it because she's already well known) But as of her 10th vlogmas, she did mention about eloping because of the situation of covid YET she's in paris again doing the same shit she'd do in ny lol.

Also speaking of beauty, she did a story of her skincare routine a while back and it was quite literally: 1. Wash face with scrub, 2. Finish with two drops of serum. That’s it.

I cringed seeing her do that because influencers often times promote damaging skincare practices. She definitely has good skin genetics because scrub + no moisturiser would seriously give anyone else a damaged barrier.

Therapy is good to go to the root of her inferiority complex.

If she grew up in NY around other immigrants who achieved a great life, I can understand that she felt left out. And for a lot of people looking wealthy is more important than being wealthy. However at this rate she can put her life in risk with high debts.
