Haha! This comment gave me a laugh! I used to like watching PurseOnFleek bc she seemed to really love Hermes but once they banned her and she had to move to Chanel, every item is “so sought after”, “the unicorn of the season”, etc. So obvious Mel is trying to move on up from her poor upbringing by flexing lux brands and as we see with Alyssa, it does not work. Mel and Alyssa have A LOT in common, except Alyssa found a little buddy SA at Hermes who hooked her up. I wonder how that SA will feel now that Alyssa is essentially done buying at Hermes outside of bags which is so low commission in Hermes. I don’t feel sorry for them at all.

I don't think that's a fair assessment. Alyssa grew up in Queens, which is in NYC. Alyssa does not hide that she lives in Jersey now. Lisa D NYC literally has NYC in her IG username and cosplays as a New Yorker despite being from bumfuck Pennsylvania

If the families are not as loaded or if they planned on giving less than needed Alyssa would have to come back to reality and do it in the US.

Weddings don't even have to be that expensive. She could easily book an expensive restaurant or do it in a luxury hotel in the US.

If she starts her marriage on values that do not align with her husband or his family this could create problems.

She mentioned in Vlog 10 that because of the new strain she was considering cancelling it and eloping/doing something small in the states (which really, she should have done in the first place and just honeymoon in Italy) The whole video had a manic energy about it

COVID was very much a thing when they decided to do the Italy wedding and they’ve just travelled overseas twice, and the wedding is still a year away so the sudden change of heart came across as a bit weird. Her spending has been out of control this year, so I’m thinking that she’s racked up some consumer debt and maybe they can’t afford the flashy overseas wedding any more

Jeez! I can’t imagine having such an issue saving money for a major life event that I might need to cancel my wedding. I wonder why she doesn’t start working with a financial advisor who will create a budget for her and Marco. Many influencers have accountants/financial advisors (and managers) that they have thanked for turning their “job” into a viable, longer term business.
