What makes you say that?
Majority of UK based influencer husbands have "disclosed" that most of the brands have been "working with them".

It just means that they were gifted the ring to propose to their girlfriends.

Talk about being a professional beggar!

That's so true. Well you know she's been pressuring Marco to propose to her for the longest and how coincidental that Vrai sponsored the engagement. He even said in the video, "Isn't this what you wanted??"

Side note: to the person who said her vlogs are boring, I agree! The only way it is going to be more interesting is if she suddenly becomes pregnant or films the wedding.

Lol she talks about how she’s downsized a lot in terms of her handbag collection and is having another closet sale. If you have to sell off your entire collection that means you can’t afford the 5 hermes. Money can’t buy class.

Closet sale to fund her cc bill 😂 alyssa would say i'm making room for bags I don't use but really she barely even uses the bags since she mostly stays at home, mall and flex on her pick up raku takeout at NYC

Hi everyone,
I've been wanting to comment on this thread since forever lol.
I've been following Alyssa for quite some years now. I used to like her as I found her genuine. Not anymore. I just find her life a bit pointless, I mean was is the purpose of a life spent at home creating content and watching K drama surrounded by luxury items you're not really taking out? I'm also an introvert but I would honestly become crazy with such a life. I have now unfollowed her as I am not inspired by her content anymore. I'm not saying I only like influencers who are travelling or doing fancy stuff, but I am not interested in seeing a vlog of you staying at home all week tbh.

The other thing is her spending habits. I know Americans spend more and save less than Europeans (I'm French), but honestly her spending pattern is insane with so many new luxury items all the time. How is she paying for that destination wedding, or even saving for her future house?

I don’t get the point of having all these accessories and other things if you’re going to sell them.

I recently sold a bag cause I hardly used it but to sell my entire jewelry and handbag collection to fund a Hermès habit?? No thanks.

I feel like she was more relatable when she was living at her parents house but now that she’s living with Marco, she did a complete 360 and changed a lot.

So true, it’s very obvious that she’s not “curating” her collection, or she wouldn’t own multiple of the same style of bags in different colours. She’s far too up herself for someone who so obvious cannot afford to maintain their own lifestyle.

Alyssa's goal in life is to feel like she's a part of the club, but having Hermes and extortionately priced designer trinket trays will never cure those blues. Alyssa is what I think is all wrong about social media. The influencer was born out of people with style and an eye for a deal dishing advice and helping you out like a neighbor or friend. It's now turned into the chase for who has the cookie cutter home, bag collection, clothes, etc. When is the last time an influencer showed you a brand of which you'd never heard? Showed you a design hack you'd never seen? It has been YEARS. They are literally all the same, and while you have the Chiara, Tamara, etc of the world who are making millions and can afford the lives they show, you have thousands of Alyssas and Claire Chanelles who so desperately want to shed their insecurities via "look what I have". Sadly so many of their viewers buy into it and are spending all their money on things they'll realize in five years was a complete waste of money. It is truly a sad and ruthless existence.

It is certainly the American way to buy, buy, buy. My favorite is the infatuation they have with Europeans, especially with French style, not realizing that French women are not hoarders, often only having a few bags, shoes and coats that (gasp!) they actually wear and use.

Who else is ROARING at Alyssa’s La Mer ads?! ROFLLLLLL! Please tell me when Alyssa has broken out the La Mer (and not in the free department store sample sizes) for use on a daily basis. Oh La Mer … oh any brand who things a seasoned shopper falls for this BS. Ya gurl Alyssa would NEVER spend her precious few coins on something as lux and expensive as La Mer. Their PR teams needs to look elsewhere.

👏👏👏👏

I can't even remember the last time a big influencer criticised a brand for its lack of quality.

Everybody is well aware that Chanel's quality is cheap yet you never hear them admit it publicly.

Hermes is taking advantage of all of them by making them beg for bags but they are all on their knees to get a Birkin.

It is so sad that we went from genuine middle-class people advising other middle-class people on how to get the best items for a good price. To now, beggars who are all trying to keep up with the Joneses because they have an inferiority complex.

Alyssa got the urge to cancel the wedding (even though it’s like a year away?) and sell a bunch of stuff… tell me you’re broke without telling me you’re broke 😅

wait she’s going to cancel the wedding???
She mentioned in Vlog 10 that because of the new strain she was considering cancelling it and eloping/doing something small in the states (which really, she should have done in the first place and just honeymoon in Italy) The whole video had a manic energy about it 😂

COVID was very much a thing when they decided to do the Italy wedding and they’ve just travelled overseas twice, and the wedding is still a year away so the sudden change of heart came across as a bit weird. Her spending has been out of control this year, so I’m thinking that she’s racked up some consumer debt and maybe they can’t afford the flashy overseas wedding any more

Her latest video of her and Marco making two small gingerbread houses was possibly the most bland and boring one yet. One flat camera angle, just watching them for 10 minutes lol, I can't anymore

Jeez! I can’t imagine having such an issue saving money for a major life event that I might need to cancel my wedding. I wonder why she doesn’t start working with a financial advisor who will create a budget for her and Marco. Many influencers have accountants/financial advisors (and managers) that they have thanked for turning their “job” into a viable, longer term business.
Do we think she cut out Gleam to recoup more cash from her paid partnership?

Yikes planning an international wedding during covid and posting abt covid cases spiking up. Does she not realize that her parents and siblings are all waaaay older than her? Her parents can barely go upstairs. We stan a considerate daughter and sibling who has a spending addiction 🤡

She got a mini lady dior for Christmas
