I reported her the other day for the same thing... don't know what happens now? Or if they do anything?
And. You know if we messaged her about it she'd either just block us or delete the ads and say she was being trolled. Tiresome.
Keep reporting. It all adds up and the more reports they get (and from more people) they will be likely to properly investigate as it shows it’s deliberate rather than a slip up.
She’ll be raking in hundreds of thousands of pounds per year doing this. No exaggeration.
Following the ASA rules on declaration is really not too much to ask

Couldn’t agree more… plus the fact that she mentioned she bought the trousers but in a smaller size! Who needed to know it was a smaller Size!? She is def struggling at the moment. She’s all over the place.
And don’t get me started on hiding the AFF link! How disingenuous is that!!?!?
exactly this! a reel supposedly created to remind her followers that thinness does not equal happiness - and not simply an excuse to justify sharing even more low weight photos of herself - yet she then purposefully makes the point of highlighting that she had to buy trousers in smaller size and she's "very happy" about it. and she justified sharing this, by saying "i know you'll want to know" - which is just weird. why does she think people want to know that she's losing weight? or that it is helpful or appropriate to share that information?! it's entirely contradictory and totally irresponsible to make such triggering comments on a supposedly "body confidence" account. and tell us again how you aren't equating weight loss with happiness, Alex. 🤦🏻‍♀️😡

She’s a dangerous 90s womens magazine like Cosmo in human form isn’t she? Endless ads & encouragement of mindless consumption dressed up with a thin veneer of girl power and love your body.

while simultaneously making a point of criticising 90s diet culture - crash diets, magazine articles tearing apart women's bodies and headlines slating female celebrities for gaining weight etc - and the influence it had on her relationship with her body as a child and while growing up, and how the underweight "body ideals" perpetuated by the olsen twins, kate moss etc exercerbated the pressures from society to lose weight and triggered the development of eating disorders - while overlooking the fact that the content she is sharing is equally as damaging! based on the content she's been sharing recently, she may as well be sharing articles anf images straight from the pages of 90s teen magazines - except, of course, that wouldn't provide her with the validation she is seeing when she shares photos of herself at a low weight. 🤦🏻‍♀️

there is absolutely no way that she doesn't realise that constantly sharing photos of herself when she was in the depths of her eating disorder is dangerous and places her followers at just as much risk of being triggered as she was by seeing photos of celebs like mary-kate when she was younger. and sharing them under the guise of spreading messages of body positivity - like "it's okay to gain weight" and "thinness doesn't equal happiness etc - is bleeping disgusting, as she knows that by attaching body confident hashtags, her reels will be seen by millions of people - placing thousands of vulnerable people at risk. she's proudly relapsing - hence the "i'm so happy i bought a smaller pair of trousers" comments - and seeking validation by showing photos of herself when she was unwell, while simultaneously sending meaningless messages about how thinness ≠ happiness. make it make sense!

and yeah, i have sympathy for her in the sense that anorexia is bleeping torture - but i am far more concerned about all her vulnerable followers who she is knowingly and deliberately placing at risk, who don't have the luxury of being able to cancel a holiday in order to afford private therapy whenever they realise they need it. i have lost every single grain of respect for her and her behaviour, because she 100% k ows what she is doing - and i hope she's ready to take full responsibility when her purposefully triggering content has devastating consequences. 😔

She is the worst kind of influencer and the reason Tattle exists - because unless you agree with her and align with her views, you have no place on her feed and no opportunity to engage in a coherent, logical counter argument to some of her claims / statements. I speak as someone who has had body issues in the past and was fully immersed in diet culture, all through my teens and 20s. It’s gone too far IMO and the answer is somewhere in the middle of two extremes (Alex being very much at one end). There is no acknowledgment of this and it is damaging.

I’ve reported her. I feel that she’s very manipulative. She knows exactly what she’s doing but she’ll hide behind this pretence of being unaware/feeling personally attacked/some other problem that stops her being accountable.

Oh she'll definitely have some rambling silly me blame something excuse. It's very clear she plays the dumb ditzy blonde card to excuse her behaviour and people believe her " oh silly me I've done another ridiculous typo " act but she's incredibly switched on and knows exactly what she's doing. It's just unfortunate for her that her mask is starting to slip and she's showing her true colours ..and it ain't pleasant !

That reel made me feel physically ill. As someone who has battled bulimia for over a decade, and is now a weight I’m happy with and feeling secure, I watched that and ended up body checking in the mirror getting ready this morning, looking at my thighs etc.
How patronising is this though?

because obvs creating a reel filled with photos of herself at a low weight wasn't low enough, this is the kind of patronising response you receive when you contact her to highlight the fact that her content is triggering. and it's not as though she wasn't aware - she knows damn well that the photos she's posting are going to trigger her vulnerable followers - those who struggle with food/eating disorders/body image issues etc, yet when they reach out to her to explain the impact her reels are having, she responds as though she's entirely blameless, all like "aw, soz bbz!" but with the implication that it's your problem and nothing to do with her. she is the one sharing images she knows are triggering and inappropriate - which she's proved that she is fully aware of, by adding a totally meaningless *trigger warning* in her caption - and she is the one who needs. to take responsibility for the content she shares, especially when she has such a huge platform and many of her followers are vulnerable, having specifically followed her to try and improve their relationship with their body, under the guise that her account promotes "body confidence". a popular hashtag she is totally exploiting to share photos of herself at her lowest weight.

i have anorexia, so i can totally relate to you feeling triggered - and it just goes to show the amount of people her content will be negatively impact, yet she simply does not care. she must be deleting comments, because i do not believe for a second that nobody has left a single critical comment on a reel which goes against every rule in the eating disorder community on SM, in that sharing low weight before/after photos is a huge no no and totally unacceptable - yet she claims to be part of that community, stating she has "recovered" from the eating disorder which still very much has its claws in her. it's incredibly frustrating, because i am so tempted to send a message explaining how triggering and inappropriate her content is, and encourage her to step back from social media until she gets into a better headspace - but even highlighting that it's not okay to share the photos she is sharing and pointing out that she needs to take responsibility for protecting the vulnerable audience she knows damn well follow her page will either get me blocked, or I will recieve an infuriatingly sarcastic or ditzy reply, essentially justifying that it's to post content that violates IGs rules because she added *trigger warning* in the caption, or just a "sorry" with the insulinuation that my own triggers are my responsibility, not hers - which they are, but not when someone is sharing content that will be seen by millions of people without warning, while fully aware of the damaging impact it will have. such meaningless, generic responses to totally valid messages are standard of pro-ana "if you don't like it, don't look at it" bull. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hi Alex’s management.

I strongly suggest you have words with your client. Yoshe’s been reported multiple times to ASA for not flagging adverts properly, she’s clearly suffering from some sort of mental health break as addressed within this forum. As a result of aforementioned mental health crisis, her messaging is becoming damaging and destructive for those she’s claiming to want to help. I genuinely believe she needs actual, real, medical help right now and it’s worrying that those close to her aren’t helping her seek it.

As for Alex’s bafflement over why someone would previously message her positive comments (as I used to when I first followed her, interestingly I never even got a ‘like’ on the messages let alone a reply) then change how they think and/or feel, it’s because her messaging and her output changed. I followed her at the beginning of the pandemic and found she helped me, her messaging seemed new, fresh and honest. I don’t wish harm onto her, however, it needs to be addressed the harm that’s being done by this sudden, and alarming, rise in her sharing a mass of photos of her during her low weight.

This makes the while thing even worse! Her management are clearly well aware of the issues with her hiding the AD mark in posts and the negative reactions to some of her content but don't care!

Also I understand why it’s easier for influencers to say all of us on tattle are nasty trolls with unhappy lives. I’m not. I can’t speak for everyone else, but I’m really not. I’m university educated, I have a good job, a family and friends who love me. So, why do I come onto this site?
Because I’m unable to have a productive conversation with any influencer (except one who was very receptive) or discussion in the comments about things being problematic, such as sharing problematic photos. I understand that influencers are a grey area. There’s currently very minimal regulation, meaning essentially they can say and do what they like, with little to no consequences. If influencers engaged with their community, listening to both the positive and negative feedback and then made changes based on that (much like many companies and employees do) I doubt Tattle would be so popular. I don’t want to make someone’s life difficult or cause upset, however there’s no where for people to have these conversations.

So is this management her younger sister who she's now employed alongside someone else who was answering her DMs ? Her SM has certainly become very lucrative for her, maybe it's time she started taking responsibility for what she posts and stop with the rude and spiteful responses of late. Her attitude sucks!

“My management flagged this to me” - how bleeping self important is she? She read it herself. She’ll be reading this. Alex, say hi to the ASA from us.

How did she make the link between your Instagram and your tattle account? Sorry if I'm being dense. That's hilarious she clearly trawls her thread here
