I saw those lemons! I have seen them before. I will buy them next time.

However, I did not see the cheescake brownies. I love them. I did get the ultimate brownie for myself though.

Are there any Lidl bakery specials at the moment? Honestly so annoying that they don’t put it anywhere. I guess they just want to get people in store to check.
Sea salt and rosemary focaccia too!

Picked up a couple of the spicy margarita cocktail cans. They are neither spicy, nor margarita. Didn’t think to check the ingredients, main one is grain spirit, tequila is somewhere down the list. Drank them (obvs) but won’t buy again

Aldi have copied the M&S loaded dips, i bought the Caesar and Indian, will report back once I’ve tried them. They look great and they’re £1.99 compared to £3.50 (ish) at M&S.

They also have this Pinot in an aluminium bottle which I’m currently drinking - it’s nice and will be a great option for picnics or festivals or anywhere else where you can’t or don’t want to bring a glass bottle

We had the Caesar one today, it was ok but my god it’s garlicky, too much for me. Mr Louder enjoyed it though. Lots of chicken in it. We put it in bagels with salad rather than dipping

Those dips are on loads of the influencers and dieting sites this weekend and people saying they are unable to buy them as the shelves have been cleared already.

We had the Aldi Hot honey and Nduja sausages for dinner tonight, they were lovely. Definitely recommend!

I was rather sad to find that the fish fingers from Lidl, although they turned out to be jumbo, which I liked, unfortunately tasted like the dish cloth had been breadcrumbed.😬😝

I like Aldi buttons also. Most dairyfine chocolate I enjoy. Their mini eggs were absolutely vile though, so disappointing.

A rant - I got to Aldi at 8.10 am (on the 1st bus) to buy a hot air weed killer and couldn't find any. I asked and the cashier told me they had 6 when they opened at 8 and a bloke came in and bought them all. 🤬 🤬 🤬.
Did get some stuff on 50% off stickers, 2 extra large chickens for £3.60 each and plenty of soft fruit which will go in the freezer along lots of those bags of 1 chopped onion which I find so useful so I suppose it was worth going.

I really do think they need to start restricting the special buy items like the above for example. It’s like the wooden toys all over again, people buying them to resell. rum bag behaviour.
