I'm going to Aldi tomorrow in search of this garlic caesar dip of dreams! Watch it be fully sold out at my store 😅

I went to Aldi yesterday and forgot to look for the dip. Yet was right by that section as I picked up an aioli, limited edition, natch 🫠

The spicy margarita tin isn't spicy by any stretch of the imagination. Strong? Sure but definitely not so hot that it hurts. (Trust me, spicy things that are actually spicy hurt me 😣) Luckily I only got one and got a Provence rosé for the weekend. £7.49 👀

Every week in aldi I get cross that they only did the vegan titan ice cream bars for veganuary and that I didn’t buy enough for the year 😩😩

There wasn't even a label on the shelf for the loaded dips 😭

I picked up the aldi pistachio spread in my state of despair. No idea what I'm going to use it with 😅 I also picked up the last of these gelato cups I hadn't seen before

The margaritas are rank, I posted about them last week, the main ingredient isn't even tequila and there’s no spice at all

No label in mine either for the dips. I buy hummus and mashed avocado and thought they would be there but nothing. Asked about them when I got to the till and the bloke there said he had never seen them and he did lots of the stocking up today.

I don't know what I was inspecting with the pistachio creme, but it's basically pistachio nutella. I now understand why people on the M&S thread were eating it straight from the jar! 😅

I think this is an unpopular opinion but I really don’t like the pistachio crème. The milky hazelnut one however…🤤🤤🤤

I’m with you…..I think I just got caught up on a wave of pistachio madness and now realised I don’t actually like pistachio things 😂

Think thats just same as vodka just stronger, to make it cheaper
Grain spirit is distilled from corn, wheat or barley and is very strong. It is used as a base to make vodka, gin etc and flavoured liquers.
My late husband used to legally make it from a kit and you can make it into any spirit with it by adding various flavourings. Nothing to do with cheapness, that is how vodka is made.

The pistachio gelato in the cups I got from Aldi today weren't anything special tbh. The best part about them was Mr Duck getting far too excited about washing up the plastic cups they came in and adding them to the cool bag we keep on top of the fridge for the three or four times a year we have a picnic 😅

I usually keep some paper cups for this, but last year I forgot to buy more once we ran out and we ended up sharing a bottle of rose like some teenagers with a bottle of White Lightning 🤣🤣

They're ok i think, much better if they aren't straight out of the freezer. But would agree that they're not anything special
