Picked up this L’Ocitane dupe in my Lidl this evening. Really impressed as the cream is thick and isn’t far off with the scent too. Might grab the hand wash next time I am in

I got the crispy chocolate balls today. Didn't realise they were in different flavours so I got the blonde chocolate one, which isn't normally my favourite chocolate, but I still really like them. 😋
Also saw Bailey's eclairs in the freezer section, but none of you have mentioned these up to press.🤔
Being a Bailey's virgin - after being warned off by addicts, I was a bit hesitant to pick them up. 🤭
ETA. Talking about Lidl.
I've put them on the tree -1 as I needed to taste test obvs 😉 Similar but not as good as ferrero rocher but for £1.99 (I initially thought they were £2.99) I'm sold.

Had a lovely tea of fish, chips and mushy peas courtesy of Aldi.
Miles better than what I've had from the chip shop and I wasn't left with stomach ache and feeling slightly sick, so a win win all round. 😋😁
I was looking at their frozen battered extra nice fish in the freezer the other day when my bestie drove me to Aldi (lidl is our local). It looked very nice.

We've also planned a trip to a new big Aldi in the next town next week and are both stupidly excited. 😂

Than
I’ve got that perfume from M&S & even layered with the body lotion it doesn’t last. I honestly don’t think any of the cheaper “dupes” do. They smell the same but they don’t last. I’ve got a Bacarat Rouge dupe (however you spell it !) and that’s the same.
Thank you - think I will find a "real" one which is not too heavy.. Years ago I wore heavy perfumes like Poison etc and loved them but now they are not for me. I have Chanel 5 which I found in my MIL bedroom when she died but I really don't like it - I use it as house spray when I go out of the door.
:) :)

I went to my local Lidl the other day and didn't know they had done some rearranging. It feels less cramped but schlepping to the back for the frozen stuff is annoying, especially with my dodgy leg.

Still, the guest dulce muffin was lovely. Not a repeat purchase, as it's too claggy after a while, but seems I made the right choice in shop. Also, I know it's not their most exciting baked item but their fresh croissants are delicious.

I've never been to Lidl that plays music 😯
Maybe it was just a test at my one! 🤣 The last month or so they've been playing awful elevator type songs that kind of sound like fake pop songs. Really loud and definitely didn't encourage me to buy more food!

Has anyone tried any of these yet? Bought the Irish cream liqueurs from alidi last year and they were pretty good.

Lidl Snacktastic Bats & Ghosts crisps - both Tomato and Pickled Onion.

Might just as well have picked up some plain pom bears - no flavour at all, and the ones that did have a flavour must've been flavoured in a different factory and these caught the dust on a following wind.

Pointless and very disappointing - thank goodness they'll be gone in a short time as they seem to be Halloween type stock

I bought a pretzel puff in Lidl this morning and now I can never darken their doors again because I will have to buy at least 2 every time I go in, it was lovely.
I was hoping they wouldn’t be as good as the garlic ones so that I wouldn’t be tempted. WRONG. Delicious. I even warmed them up again in the oven - omg. 🤤

I had two bakery vouchers, a free cheese twist, I’m normally a sweet tooth but this was delicious. I think I need to be sweet and savoury on my bakery trip 😅

My other voucher was a free sweet treat so I got the pecan slice thing and also delicious!

I was also looking for the anti aging eye cream which seems to have disappeared but I did find vitamin c serum for £3 which said it was new so going to give that a try 🤷🏼‍♀️
I love a cheese twist! Whack them in the air fryer for a minute or 2. If they make it from the car!

Really impressed with the vemondo range in they for Veganuary at Lidl. Got some vegan vanilla biscuits, chocolate and orange cookies, potato tortillas, Russian salad, souffle, and some fun pasta dishes. Only job is to eat it all before it expires

Had the SS Dopiaza curry sauce last night. It was really Lovely.
I’d bought it a few weeks ago on the middle aisle specials. Assuming it was a one off, as haven’t seen it since!
They also had some great curries recently, but just for a week. Wish I’d stocked up on them now, and shoved them in the freezer.
This is the one thing I absolutely hate about Aldi.
You find something really great, and it’s only on sale for a limited time 😞

I probably should have asked this before I bought it 😅 but can anyone report whether their dupe of Benefit Bad Gal mascara is good?
I did like it but towards the end it sort of went funny…like there was too much product on the wand, but on the whole yes, I think I would repurchase

Looking at the Aldi online leaflet for this week and they're going to be doing another American theme which is including some... interesting crisp flavours.

Corn on the cob flavour and hot dog & onion flavour... 🤢

Tried the masaman curry kit tonight. I dont think it’s permanent, as haven’t seen it since I bought it a few weeks ago. Had it with with aldis coconut rice, and some veg gyoza from Lidl!
it was really tasty. I also really like the Thai green and red curry kits.!
