My store had them a few weeks ago. I would recommend cooking for a bit longer than the packet instructions or on a higher temp. I found them a bit undercooked in the middle and not golden enough, so I tried again with the oven at 190 and they were much nicer

Has anybody seen the Lego flowers in their Aldi? Due in today but wasn’t even a space for them in my local and can’t decide if I make time to go to the next town to have a look
Yep, bought some today. They were in a little pink stand in front of one of the tills. I'd scoured the store and given up at that point too!

So having demolished the cherry bakewell Jaffa cakes, I foolishly thought I would get some more 🤣 no sign no gap, staff no clue. How does anybody do a weekly shop in here? You can’t plan meals, write a list as things are only there once, or on the website forever but never appear

I went in for the Lacura cleansing balm. It wasn’t in their online leaflet but they had advertised on instagram that it would be in today. Stocked up as it’s brilliant.

Tried the Lidl Truffle Mayo deluxe , following on from the roasted garlic mayo one, equally as tasty. £1.69. YUM.

Loving the Lidl Lush shower gel dupes , went back for a couple more of the rose scent one, a very good dupe for rose jam.

I got the roasted garlic mayo in the jar from Lidl, hadn’t seen it before and thought it looked nice. How wrong was I… it tastes really weird imo, neither like mayo or garlic and is quite sweet 🤢🤢🤢

On a more positive note I stocked up on the Aesop dupe body wash, I love it!! It smells lovely and doesn’t irritate my psoriasis which is always very welcome.
The body wash is so lovely! It smells like a boujee spa. And I also have psoriasis and it hasn’t irritated mine either so it’s a def winner, I’m going to stock up on my next visit too.

I miss the days when I could drink the basic stuff. The days before I was corrupted by hipsters.
I was a coffee hipster before it was cool, actually 😎

No, seriously, I've always hated instant coffee and refuse to drink it. A mediocre tea is preferable to bad coffee.

I have them right here on the table ready to go... how are you cooking them?

I'm teaming them with Lidl bourbon vanilla ice cream so please hurry a reply 🤣
Shit sorry .. I was slacking and only seen this now... ahhhhh

I put them on greaseproof paper and into the oven .. but that's only cause I burn everything in the airfryer (I'm useless )

😂😂😂

Into the oven .. Fan 160 ish... 18 minutes ...Check and twirl tray around.. Back in the oven.. Stand in kitchen till done 🤗🤗😂😂😂😂😂😂

My Lidl reductions % has dropped to 20% rather than the 30% I was used to. Is this a new thing as I've not gotten any reductions for a while?

Had the SS Dopiaza curry sauce last night. It was really Lovely.
I’d bought it a few weeks ago on the middle aisle specials. Assuming it was a one off, as haven’t seen it since!
They also had some great curries recently, but just for a week. Wish I’d stocked up on them now, and shoved them in the freezer.
This is the one thing I absolutely hate about Aldi.
You find something really great, and it’s only on sale for a limited time 😞
Those curries for a week were Bilash brand for India week and it said not to freeze them so I had one every day they were on sale until after the sell by date They were the best supermarket curries ever and I have emailed Aldi and asked if they are coming back on general sale but no reply. Their wonderful mango chutney has now disappeared from the middle aisle which has been there for weeks.

Aldi has really been killing it this year. I hear they've won awards as the offering has been so good.
Husband and I went round Aldi one night minus children and every 2 seconds down the Christmas food sections I was ‘ooh’, ‘ooooh’, ‘oh look at this’, so I 100% agree they are smashing the food selection this year!

I just had a lidl app alert 'to celebrate random acts of kindness day we are giving away..' and then it vanished and I can't find anything in the app itself 😬. Did anyone see? Was it anything good?.
Vouchers but not for everyone. I didn't get anything

Well Lidl have totally alienated me this Christmas. I don’t regularly shop there but lots of things in their Xmas leaflet tempted me so I went out of my way to get try and get them. all bar one thing hasn’t been stocked or was sold out on the day it was supposed to be in store. I don’t know why I even bothered to try and get the Xmas chocolate train pudding yesterday. I ended up buying a festive pie and the label said £4.99 but I’ve just checked my receipt and it was £9.99. Naffed off
To be honest I always find this, I went to 7 aldis earlier in the year for an item, not found but still on the website, and just before Christmas I went to two aldis and 2 lidls one of which was huge, for stuff advertised, found zero

I noticed that Lidl are selling biscuits that look like custard creams in flavours after dinner mints, gingerbread and mince pie.
Anyone know if these are any good?
The vegan frozen stuff looked nice.
I picked up puff pastry tarts X2 with Mediterranean veg and sauce as there was only one left 😁 no idea if it's nice.

I nipped into my Lidl yesterday & it was a shit show ! All the chicken had yesterdays date or todays date (no yellow stickers but I won’t buy reduced meat from Lidl anyway - just my own preference) I picked up 6 or 7 pots of yoghurts which all had 2/3 days left. There was a guy removing stuff from the shelves to either reduce or throw and the trolley was overflowing. Seemed criminal to waste that much food.
