Everyone’s talking about frickles…I do love a pickle but I can’t imagine one battered. Are they dangerously good, or just okay?

Aldi do their own version of the sour Colin caterpillar gummies, I think they're called Wendy worms? I've had them a few times, they're pretty similar to the Colins!
Second these! I’ve got a bag in the cupboard I got free on the app the other week 🙌🏻

I had two bakery vouchers, a free cheese twist, I’m normally a sweet tooth but this was delicious. I think I need to be sweet and savoury on my bakery trip 😅

My other voucher was a free sweet treat so I got the pecan slice thing and also delicious!

I was also looking for the anti aging eye cream which seems to have disappeared but I did find vitamin c serum for £3 which said it was new so going to give that a try 🤷🏼‍♀️

I went to Aldi this morning after the storm stopped where I live and it was a bit busy but nothing major. I went back this afternoon as I had forgotten something - 3pm - and it was almost empty. I couldn't believe it. But anyway.
I bought the Specially Selected Biscuits for Cheese - wow they are they good. I bought the M&S ones last week for a friend so we did a bit of a trial this afternoon. Aldi all the way.

aldi spinach and ricotta tortellini - absolute muck (and I’m really not picky). Possibly the worst thing I’ve ever put in my mouth

I feel like we could be friends, I really enjoy snapping the heads off the Easter Bunnies 🤣

Found the Aldi near to the new-ish offices and spent way too much on the dog. Mostly specialbuys but she will definitely appreciate the treats.

Got some of their popcorn based munch to try and salted caramel gonks. Purely so I can have the joy of biting their eye less heads off 😈

So I'm walking round Lidl and thought 'i feel so calm'. Then realised they had stopped blaring out that goddam awful music! Anyone else's Lidl stopped playing music? Maybe they had complaints 🤣
Same here - I complained and complained and complained about Lidl and £1 shop.
The worst I have heard was £1 shop playing So here it is Merry Christmas on Nov 1 - the young guy stacking the shelves said, at 2pm, he was sick to death of them but said company policy was 1st Nov they play. I have bombarded them with complaints along with friends. Went in today and we are back to the musical they usually play - which I like.
Arriva bus where I live has an on going light thing and today it said - Seasons Greetings - what on earth is that about. I said to the driver - seasons greetings to you and we had a conversation about which season. It was quite funny as he had not idea it was on there.

We had 2 of the curries tonight (Rogan Josh/ butter chicken). Had the dips and naan breads as well, it was all bloody lovely. The curry did give me terrible heartburn but this is a me problem, don't be put off ☺

I got loads of bargains in Aldi today.
50% off whole chicken and breasts
75% off mince and meatballs
50% off kids yogurts with 2 weeks till expired
Boursin for 32p plus loads of other stuff and most of it has at least 2 days left to eat.

Managed to get to Lidl today, picked up the Aesop dupe body wash, lush honey shower gel, a gorgeous leather and cedar candle and the SDJ dupe spray, the pistachio fragrance one, looking forward to trying them out..

I have just eaten a warm croissant cut open with a slithering of the pecan hazelnut dark chocolate spread & a scoop of salted caramel ice cream, all from Lidl.
It was 😋

I too love those 'cheap' shortbread but they've leapt up in price.

Lidl barista (in a tin rather than jar) is powdered
I think the Lidl one is a better dupe of Azera than the Aldi one, I much prefer Lidls version. However other people say they can't find difference between the two so it may just be me! 🤣🤣

As if nobody mentioned it was Italian week in Lidl. Quite frankly you are all off my Christmas card list as you were obviously trying to keep the coffee Ice cream and chocolate covered pistachios to yourself.
Literally had to restrain myself from mentioning it all week in case anyone lives near me 🤣. I’ve been checking the leaflets every week to see when it would be back. I’m going tomorrow to raid the ice cream cabinet and hoping they have the bueno spread in again 🤞🏻

Talking Tesco - I don't know about like for like but I never shop in Tesco as it is not local but needs must and yesterday when I wanted some Soya Milk I had to go to one which was on my bus route back from the hospital.
Tesco own brand soya milk £1.25 - Aldi 85p. Looked at other products I use and couldn't believe the prices and they were not on the Tesco card. I shop in Aldi and M & S and this is the last time for a Tesco visit.
