I’ve gone right off Lidl at the moment. Their advent calendar offers are shit. Every day there’s 15pc of some weird German liqueur or disgusting looking chemical treat that I’d never wanted anyway.

Bring back the spin of surprises!

Also please bring back my Madagascar chocolate. I’ve tried four different Lidls in different parts of England recently and think it is GONE

The best thing I ever bought for the kitchen was a kenwood mini chopper. I bought it when Delia popularised it, probably 15 years ago still going strong, use it all the time.

I did buy the flash spray mop dupe from lidl and it's brilliant .

I don't know if this has been mentioned (recently!) but the Lidl jelly beans are amazing! Currently got a small bowl of nuts and jelly beans to snack on...

Literally had to restrain myself from mentioning it all week in case anyone lives near me . I’ve been checking the leaflets every week to see when it would be back. I’m going tomorrow to raid the ice cream cabinet and hoping they have the bueno spread in again

Do you have a general ‘free bakery item’ coupon active? That’s what the message says. The specific item ones should not clash. Also check if your app is fully updated because the change was made a while ago to how their coupons work

Any recommendations for stuff you like that I can put in a Christmas hamper for a raffle?
When I've asked people what they'd like to see in a Christmas hamper number one was crackers! I've picked up some cheese twists from Aldi but I'm stumped on what crackers to get.
Then that probably means getting a jar of some chutney but I don't know the nice ones
I've bought some crisps and 2 mini Christmas puds but that's it.

The choc florentines from the Xmas range in Aldi are to die for... they have white, dark and milk chocolate ones.. ... x

Aldi - Bought the Oakhurst smoky BBQ Beef Brisket - in a box in the Specials fridge - £4.29 for 2 decent portions and it was delicious, impressed with it. Cooked it in the Airfryer but read on the net today that others cook it in the Micro and it used to have micro instructions on it. Also bought the Chicken Shawarma which is £3.29 but they have a long date on so will have that next weekend.
Pulled Pork at £3.49 and Beef Bourguignon at £4.79 but is a bigger box - will try those next week. I will have them with different sides.
Was in Marks this afternoon and they have lots of them in their fridge with the same print on the boxes but almost double the price.

I've been shopping in Aldi since it opened about 10 years ago and NO ONE has ever spoken to me apart from hello and thank you. I got to the till and the bloke said busy day? Do you like gardening? any hobbies, do your family live local? I hope this isn't a regular thing I just want my shopping thrown at me and to get out

That's the opposite where I live. Lidl staff are awful (sometimes rude) and the Aldi staff are super friendly and helpful.

I like the frozen sweet chilli chicken, the margarita & pepperoni go down well with the kids & Mr Doris

I love the sourdough ones in the black box in the fridge.

I'm seriously considering making more stuff from scratch due to the amount of strange ingredients in food...... and rapeseed oil!

Other than that has anyone else noticed the lack of food in Aldi especially eggs and veg?

I've seen smaller versions in a sleeve in the middle aisle 1.99. Try both before you commit!.

I was so embarassed I just wanted to get out of there.

Do you have smoked tofu in your Aldi ? I have looked in 3 shops now and can't find it although it is on the website.

I have it in mine, it's divine! They have plain, smoked and sweet chilli flavours. It's in the fridges near the hummous and dips etc.

I got them the other day in the freezer in Aldi and they are UNREAL!!!!

I have them right here on the table ready to go... how are you cooking them?
If air fryer even better, fry or bake setting?

I'm teaming them with Lidl bourbon vanilla ice cream so please hurry a reply

I bought a packet of the florentines from each store. Both are devine. Lidls are smaller, singles, pop in your mouth size whereas Aldis are biscuit size, 3 bite max (or I'm just greedy )
I've found a recipe to try & replicate them as they're so moreish.
