I've only ever had the ice cream ones - what are the ambient ones like? Is the outside the same, but a room temperature centre?

I found them!! Thank you @Mamacita! Yeah they’re still soft and chewy outside with gooey middles. I don’t love the frozen varieties cos I have really sensitive teeth hahah. Red bean is the most iconic flavour I’d say. Matcha is also popular but I didn’t get that one cos I don’t like it as a flavour usually.

I might grab some then, thanks! I normally cut up frozen ones so I don't have to bite into them. 🤭

I didn't get them, I actually don't think I've ever tried non ice cream mochi but tempted now 🤣

I’ve tried the Lidl and Asda version of the bueno spread. Honestly although it’s expensive the M&S one is definitely the best!
I've tried the Asda one which I didn't think tasted like Bueno but it DOES remind me of the filling in the Lidl almond praline Easter eggs!

Back to Aldi Curry Meal Kits - when I was in there yesterday there was a Khao Soi Curry Kit in the box with the Red and Green ones so bought it and had it for lunch just now, it was delicious. In the pack was a curry sauce, coconut milk, dried leaves and a couple of red chillies. Just been to throw the pack away and notices it says Limited Edition across it but the others don't and not going back until Thursday, hope there are still some there. :cautious:

My husband picked this up today from the Lidl bakery and it is so good! He also got the mini egg muffins but I’ll have that after dinner.

I got some a while back but used it together with a red Thai one as I was cooking for more people that night.

There were no cherry bakewell blondies today so I tried the cronut. Sorry guys but its foul. Dry, cheap chocolate on it, just nasty and absolutely not a cronut in terms of texture.

They told me the blondes have finished 😭
I like the Cronut but it’s definitely not the texture of a real cronut.

I know it sounds like a stupid question but what does coconut rice taste like, is it sweet?

I don't think it is and I don't like sweet things with savoury and find it nice with a curry or even in a salad bowl. Just had a look on the packet and there is no sugar in it.

Agree with this, I’m the same with sweet and savoury, but I love coconut rice with a curry.

I saw this today! Please report if it’s nice, I’m intrigued.
I was trying to save it for Easter but caved and had a little drink. You do get creme egg on the first taste but after that it's just very sweet Bally Castle liqueur, so a bit disappointing 😥. Hope they bring back the Reeces one as that was heavenly.
