Most of the meat seems to be be about the same price. All my sons lunchbox items are cheaper in lidl. 6 pack of flavoured water less than a pack of 4 in aldi, crisps and cold meats seem to be cheaper too.

I always find Lidl cheaper too
I guess it depends what you buy. Some things are probably cheaper in lidl, some in Aldi so everyone will probably find one or the other cheaper for their particular standard shop. The which comparisons etc will look at an overall basket of goods
I seem to spend less in lidl but get more for my money! If anything I buy more when I go to Lidl because of the bakery 
I get the salt n vinegar “Tiles” which are dupes for square crisps. They’re different but better than the real thing.
Anyway I’ve just opened a bag with double or treble the usual flavouring making them the sharpest tasting salt n vinegar crisps I’ve ever had. They are AMAZING. I’m savouring them because it’ll probably never happen again!

The salt n vinegar twirls are what the Tiles remind me off.

Did I read somewhere that Lidl bakery were selling cronuts? I’ve been wanting to try one, but my local didn’t have any today when I popped in.
They were during January but they were a 'limited item' so they might have changed over for February

Aldi - my bag was an anomaly though. It was perfect for me. The extra strong flavour was fantastic. There was about a teaspoon of flavour dust at the bottom of the bag. I dipped my finger in and ate the lot like a sherbert dab
They were nice
They were indeed but not quite the same thing as the viral ones from years before. More like a sugary doughnut with layers of dough.They were nice

Very surgery yes. I had never actually tried a cronut before trying the lidl one - I lose all sense in lidl bakery
Lidl lime scale remover (bottle not spray) is the best I've ever found. Cheap in comparison too. I mix some up half & half water too in a spray bottle. Bit boring but might interest someone. 
Lidl's definitely cheaper. There's a reason Tesco/Sainsburys is doing Aldi price match and not Lidl.
