Yeah. They're alright. Take a bit of a while though.. think they were about 45 mins? Stuck them in the air fryer to reduce the time a bit.
I went in this morning and the lovely self check out man told me they havn't had any for about 10 days but they have them in Iceland as his wife buys them - it is just across the retail park so no problem. Iceland have 1kg bags now in a different packaging but I can't remember how much they were as I don't bother with receipts - didn't pay what it says on their website. My local aldi is pretty manky there is no way on earth I'd use that

Same. My local aldi is a absolute tit hole. And the security guard is the biggest a hole you could ever encounter. It's a scruffy dump.
In terms of basic items, M&S is comparable but definitely not an entire shop.
M&S is ok until you go on the M&S thread on here and end up spending £20 on snacks, ready meals and chocolates you've been influenced to buy.
I shop in Aldi/Lidl/M&S a lot. I wouldn’t do a full shop in M&S as it’s too expensive (done it once, won’t do it again) but as another poster said, basics are not that much more expensive. They do meal deals in M&S which are decent - dine in for 2 for £12, pizza night, steak night deals etc.
Ive just been to my local Aldi, there was a homeless person ( I assume homeless) sat outside bizarrely playing a recorder

It is. M&S is more expensive. Somtimes you can pick bargain up but over all aldi/lidl are cheaper.
Or the roast deal as tou can get 3 packs of ougs in blankets, pretty sure beef or a whole chicken and pigs in blankets are cheaper in Aldi. But the quality of meat is better at M&S.
