I just got 20pc off a bagged salad.

Yeah Mr Lidl, it's minus god knows what, it's Friday and I can't wait for a drink tonight - a few pence off a mingey bag of Lidl salad is going to get me SPRINTING into store...

I was annoyed today because I wasn’t paying attention and bought the salami pizza instead of the nduja one that I had an offer for (I don’t eat ready meals so it’s a rare splurge for me!) but then won £10 off my next shop in the spins 🥳

Very annoyed with lidl today. They have taken the spicy flavour out of the faux monster munch multi pack and put my favourite wine up by £1 (also spin yielded nothing😡).

Did 2 shops today (one for a family member and my own) only got one spin!
I think it's one per day, as else people would be putting their shopping through in multiple transactions to get more spins. I noticed this when I went back in to get something I had forgotten.

I had to dash away from this one so I didn't die laughing.
A child walked past in Aldi holding her dad's hand, and he was confiding in her that he needed her help to choose some chocolate that mum likes, as he had eaten it all. He'd forgotten what was there and mum was due back.
Said child screeched to a halt, dropped his hand like it was dog muck, and started reading him the riot act about stealing.
Knowing how vigilant that store is about stealing at the moment, with their pink notices (see previous post). I was expecting the thunder of feet approaching.
Felt a bit sorry for the dad, but my urge to snort laugh was too pressing to hang around. 😂🤣😂

I’m sure more places than Lidl do this but I’ve discovered this recently and I’m obsessed, now having one pot a day which I’m sure is incredibly unhealthy 😂

It’s sooooo good, I’ve always been put off by cottage cheese so never tried it but this is amazing 😂🤣🤣

I got one of the cronuts a couple days ago, which was lovely and light. But I had a really awkward experience trying to buy it because my local Lidl is almost exclusively self service and there's no option listed for it as a bakery item on the self checkout. Must be a common issue though because the staff member was able to key in the code for me without looking it up! 😅

Also my Lidl had a bunch of coffee stuff in the special buys. Got two of the Bellarom coffee syrups to try - hazelnut and vanilla - but the hazelnut is gorgeous! It's made with sugar instead of sweeteners, so doesn't have that weird aftertaste that most of the sugar free ones do - think they were only £2.99 for a decent sized bottle

Picked up the Elemis dupe of the illuminating primer moisturiser yesterday and I must say it’s lovely. Haven’t tried the original but this seems quite moisturising for my combo skin.

This is another reason I don't use Lidl much, there isn't 1 self serve in a large, fairly new shop and when I go the 2 checkouts that are usually open have lots of people with full trolleys and I only want a kg of tomatoes and a bottle of wine and don't want to stand there for 20 mins for them.

I saw that yesterday and didn’t buy. I have the Elemis one and I like it. Would be good to do a comparison.

I saw that on Wednesday, but hesitated as not sure what dupe it was. Went to another Aldi next day (the official release day) and there were none. 😥

Lovely isn’t it! Cottage cheese is good for you, low in cals and full of protein 😊 I eat multiple pots a week 😂
