I picked up a Lidl Deluxe proscuitto and black truffle pizza yesterday. I think they are priced at £3.99 (?) but when I looked at my receipt I'd only been charged 99p! I was tempted to go round again buying four more but didn't want to be stung for £16 at the till. 😂
They are defo 99p as I stocked up on them 😂

I got lots of 50% off meat today in Aldi to shove into the freezer. Will really help us over January to save some money!

I am going on the 8 am bus which lands outside Aldi to see if I can get some more Salmon and white fish bargains. I should have taken more care with the bargain prices today.

Just opened my bottle of Aldi amaretto (the £9 ‘premium’ one). So disappointed! Tastes almost burnt. Don’t think I’ll ever find a dupe for the original!

My husband bought Aldi champagne for Christmas as he’d read it was delicious. It was disgusting.

I'm not a vegetarian but try to cut back on meat products where possible. These are absolutely immense and possibly even more filling than many alternatives. For a mass produced item, it's very well seasoned.

I had one of these yesterday and was also very impressed. I hope they are a permanent item, not just for Christmas. The steak and Stilton pies are very nice too.

The Stilton and mushroom ones are great too, a real family fave. They're always in my basket at £1.89.

We had the lidl Stilton and mushroom pies a couple days ago. Filling was really nice, but there was very very little of it!

Got a deluxe fig and mushroom pizza to try.
Going to Lidl today to get their frozen hassleback potatoes to go with our side of salmon ( also Lidl for tomorrow) They’re really lovely.

Might pick up one of the pizzas for 99p. Got some reduced price chicken breasts in Aldi yesterday,

their frozen Yorkshire puddings, which beat aunt Bessie’s in taste tests, and quite a few of the plant menu bits..
Hoping to spend as Little as possible on food in January!
Did also buy a couple more bottles of the organic Prosecco. 😀
Diet and no booze January after the 2nd though!

I was buying their Vueve dupe in the summer and it was good. I hope it’s not a bad batch as I picked up a couple of bottles yesterday!

I once had to return a case of Moet to a local wine merchant because the first bottle was flat. We popped the second bottle back in the store to check it.

If I wasn't so against blue cheese, I'd have happily tried it especially as it has mushrooms but alas. Glad they're tasty too though.

Yes, I had the chicken and mushroom pies which were amazing flavour/ seasoning wise but the pies looked almost empty.

....

Might pick up one of the pizzas for 99p.
The fig ones are really good. I went back today and picked up another couple of the black truffle & proscuitto pizzas. Still marked up in the freezer at full price but scanned at 99p again. The fig ones were marked as 99p in the freezer.

These look nice. If they haven't still got any in the freezer still I bet they'll come back for easter.

I didn’t see which one it was as I was too busy burning lunch. Hopefully it was just a bad batch - he did say he’d seen brilliant reviews.
