The Pandora advert about lab made diamonds, with an actress bleating on about being a strong woman. It's going for classy but seems so tacky.

The Ralph Lauren new perfume/aftershave ad, where they're all pretty models dancing about, it's on every ad break and driving me bonkers!

It's worse than the annoying Miley Cyrus one.

Agree with the Claudia winkleman advert!
Hate the way she says ‘why would you say that’! 👊👊

And the Vodafone one with the ‘wouldn’t it be nice if we older then we wouldn’t have to wait so long’ song played in the background !
Like it was so over played during lockdown and I like the crime channel and it’s only bloody sponsored by Vodafone and abit of the advert with the same piece of music is shown before the programme starts, when it goes for ad breaks (to them see the advert again)then when programme is back on!! Aargh!!!

I haven't watched normal tv for years i always watch YouTube Netflix now amazon prime etc and the adverts that drives me nuts there's 2 of them

1.the stupid auto glass advert it sends my son aged 14 into hysterics as he knows how much i hate it

2.i cant remember what its for (think it might be a branded fridge but the young girl wont eat fresh veg or fruit or something and the whole football team goes to encourage her like no.....
I think its Beko. She won't eat fruit & veg but when she sees FC Barca (or whoever they are) munching carrots she suddenly decides to join in the carrot-crunching - gawd I'd hate to see what happens if she saw them all getting rat-arsed after a game! ;)

Likewise I think its also this company who have the Disco Fridge where the lights in the cool box at the bottom change colour from red to blue to allegedly mimic the passage of daytime into night - they say this keeps yer veggies fresher! Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm  I'd expect the fridge to launch into the Bee Gees doing Night Fever every time you open the ruddy door to get the milk out for a cuppa

It would be interesting to know how many viewers fully/properly take notice of adverts these days. Years ago with very few channels, adverts were just an extension of a programme's entertainment. These days, If watching on catch up, I quickly skip past them. When watching live, I use the opportunity to do something else. I notice the ads with music I know and like, but just to hear not to watch.

When I am actually concentrating, I've noticed so many adverts just have people dancing and prancing - what's that all about? Something on the cheap and lazy that doesn't require any thought of a storyline?
I couldn't tell you what half of the adverts are about these days tbh. A lot of them barely focus on the actual product and go into a documentary-style shoot on something random before showing the actual product which is hardly related to what the advert is showing. Car adverts are so so guilty of this

I remember the Domino's advert was mentioned here a while back and my neighbours grandkids were yodelling it in the garden the other day
Suppose the advert is at least memorable

Bit of context: I don’t really watch adverts. My phone is in my hand as soon as they come on. So although there are adverts that I “know” I may not have actually seen them, just heard them.

Anyway there’s an advert for car insurance and it always wound me up because they have people singing in it really out of tune and wondered why advert people would think it’s a good idea to do that, like viewers would prefer to laugh at bad singers rather than listening to good singers.

After about a year, I finally caught it one day.

The people singing the song all have various disabilities, some affecting their speech.
Its the motability ad trying to persuade disabled folks to use their allowances to buy a car for their Freedom!

This pisses me off every time - the woman rocks up to have her hair done with no cash/way of paying since being able to pay with card is a surprise?!
probably pissed off she can't use her "oh no I don't have enough cash" excuse to get away with getting a free haircut :ROFLMAO:

Oh I dunno about that. My daughter had an so-called English teacher who was useless. This silly creature sent back daughter's homework with what she said were spelling mistakes underlined in red biro, but I knew damned-well they were correct as daughter had asked me as she wrote the essay but I let it ride that time.

Then the next essay comes back with all the same red underlining so I checked with A Proper Old Dictionary BOOK, not spellcheck, and yes my spellings were correct so I took my red pen out and corrected ALL the teacher's spelling errors (of which there were plenty) along with a note telling her that she ought to invest in a Dictionary before criticising other people's spellings based on her use of Americanised spellings as per her spellchecker. Oddly enough daughter never had any more red biro after that :)
yeah I was going to say, I know people who are primary school teachers whose grammar is atrocious (think using "you was" instead of were)

I've just seen an ad I JUST CANT STAND. its the Nice n Easy one featuring Stacey Dooley. With her dancing in a black 'swimsuit ' at a VERY fake dance practice session.
She grinds my gears. 'Yes, she does!' 😡
“Stacey does dancing”

it is hilarious that EVERY single actor in those ads is crap, it must actually be difficult to find actors that bad when you think how many out of work actors there are
I low key love the Verisure ads, they're so terrible, like something The Apprentice contestants make on the ad task week! The middle-classness is outrageous! They make me giggle.

All of the stupid ads with Phillip Schofield, is there nothing he won't shill?
The gin ads are awful! The magician one is pure, utter cringe!

And the charity begging bowl has started.

Sure, I rather be homeless when it's not cold and wet, but what about the rest of the year?

If we're doing annoying advert songs, may I nominate the Kayak one, 'I wanna goooo, somewhere beautifulll...'

Ergh, it's so wishy washy dullness, and it bumpers loads of programmes as sponsors. Annoys the hell out of me!
