I thought her dad had passed away? That’s the sentiment that comes over in the ad. It seemed like a tribute to her late father as she found this old tape amongst his possessions

I switch it off as soon as the music starts so I had no idea it was supposed to be a tribute. Its just grim

Weight Watchers - and I have to mute the one with James Corden as I can't stand him. Why is Weight Watchers now spoken as the initials WW? What's wrong with saying the actual words in full?

The itv women's day advert. Not the advert itself, it's that bit at the start that goes "all together". Sounds like a babyish kids voice and it goes right through me, it's right at the start too so I'm not quick enough to mute

Also that viagra animated advert that uses a cover of the proclaimers... ruined that song for me.

The Sky Q advert going around at the moment; well actually there’s two…
The one where Cat Deeley does the voice over.. fine.
Then another one where I think (but not sure) that Lily James does the voice over and she says ‘WOLLA’ instead of ‘VOILA’!!!! I shout at the tv every time!!!! I’m by no means bilingual (hey I can barely speak my own language) but I thought everyone knew how to pronounce Voila!!!!!! Especially a bloody actress!!!!!

Save The Children adverts with film stars that could easily save them without having to use our money. Over lockdown most of us are furloughed or have lost our jobs and they're making us feel even shitter than we already do

The Galbani adverts that are always on sponsoring come dine with me!

I find them offensive and Galbani really isn't a difficult word to say!



I find that one proper funny just because it's SO ridiculous that someone would even think that concept up and then proceed to put it on the telly

New to the thread and not sure if it's been mentioned. I hate all of the Hello Fresh adverts that have been on youtube. I get the same one all the time with the woman talking about why she loves it and why it's better than food shopping. I find the adverts for Huel to be really annoying as well, I don't think it looks that good no matter how many times people rave about how good it's meant to be.

Also there's a bank of Scotland advert with this small woman, meant to be a comedian, who talks about how great Scottish people are. I find it very annoying. And all the Just Eat Advert/Deliveroo ones

The Pure Cremation one with some woman gushing about their "beautiful crematorium" and how they were the perfect choice when planning her mum's funeral. I've never seen someone look so happy discussing a family member's death. And then at the very end - PLOT TWIST - her mum's actually still alive and they're sitting down to enjoy a glass of bubbly together.

Beyond tasteless, and as someone who actually lost my mum not too long ago it makes me want to put my foot through the screen.

It takes as much effort to say WW as it does to say Weight Watchers as well. Not sure of the thinking behind shortening the name
