Any plant based adverts. So tiresome & the products are filled with Frankenstein shit. 😬

Just seen the Always Platinum sanitary towel advert for the first time. Oh dear, the woke element is not a good one. It's contradictory because health professionals are concerned about how much obesity is costing the NHS every year. Yet advert makers want to normalise it but it has such a worrying impact on health and can shorten someone's life span.
So many adverts on my Instagram feed feature extremely overweight women pulling on shape wear or modelling tights. It does seem to be coming fetish based advertising but I may be wrong, just noticed it's a lot more prevalent.

There is an atrocious perfume advert on All 4 at the moment which uses a downright offensive cover of Depeche Mode's Enjoy the Silence sung by some wailing banshee with the most generic-sounding EDM backing music. I have taken to muting it whenever it comes on as with the Nationwide spoken poetry adverts. Just shit.

The Valentino perfume advert with Lady Gaga

I. Hate. How. She. Sings. Every. Word. As. Though. It. Is. It’s. Own. Sentence.

Sing. It. Properly. Lady. Gaga. Rather. Than. Taking. A. Breath. Between. Each. Word
Also is it me or is it really auto tuned? Sounds god awful!

Talking about perfume ads, the Adam Driver for Burberry ad is so bad because he just takes himself far too seriously.

I couldn’t stand that TUI Ain’t Nobody advert with the woman in the red dress and everyone dancing around her at the holiday resort.

Fucking corona adverts. Only radio, don't watch tv or other. Feel like they're doing mind control every few minutes, just no need

Ah. All those cremation ads where weirdly joyful people are talking about their death plans and then in the next second they are showing a room full of people having a party basically. Are they there to celebrate your future cremation? Like a pre death party? What is it?!
It must be terribly depressing for people who are housebound and rely on TV for entertainment.

I specifically came on this thread to moan about these 😂. The cringey poetry ones littered with thoughtful pauses and longing looks into the camera knock me sick.
the one with the couple talking about their lockdown wedding had me yelling FUCK OFFFF at the telly after the first couple of times. “In 6 months time we’ll be tying the knot” yeah and it sounds like a shit day, why are you both looking so smug your wedding is cancelled.

I didn't like that Jenny Eclair one. No one needs to know about your dry gash woman. Especially at tea time.

I hate that weak chinned middle class humour I find in some adverts. The Maltesers ones are terrible for it. Biting a leg off a chocolate rabbit and hopping it along a table, is this really the humour of middle class, pre menopausal women?
The lady in the wheelchair who run over the brides foot but got the best mans number. Am I a bad person for gagging?

A bit older but Nicole Scherzinger having a full on orgasm over a yogurt. Turn it in love, turn it in.

Another maltesers winds me up too.the one where one of them borrows the other's grandmother's necklace and then broke it on the dancefloor, what gets me is that she doesn't actually apologise for it 🤣

I think it's for a bank. There's a disingenuous woman looking into the camera reciting a poem which is supposed to pull at the heartstrings. It's nauseating.

Nationwide have been doing poem adverts for a number of years with various different people. They did appear to have stopped doing them over the last year or two but they’ve brought them back unfortunately. I’ve not heard from anyone who actually likes them

It pisses me off every time I see it. The kid emulating drag is bad enough, drag is not for kids and this performance is clearly drag inspired - so inappropriate. But what finished me off was the fact that the kid is destroying the house, his sisters picture etc and the mum just sits there like it’s no big deal. No parent would just sit there whilst their kid is smearing paint all over the walls for fucks sake and no insurance company would pay out because you allowed your kid to wreck the place. It’s just a stupid advert that I really can’t relate to as a parent.
I wasn’t bothered about him playing dress up, it was the deliberate trashing of the house and his sisters art work which annoys me. As if the insurance are going to pay out for a deliberate act

What lie is the mum going to say when she makes the claim, a tornado blew through her house?
