Thankfully the Christmas ads are over. How many years have they had that J'Adore advert with Charlize Theron strutting down the runway with the big necklace that matches the bottle :ROFLMAO:

Especially as the mother is outside the shop and basically sent her in for it 🙄

The Santander ad with Ant and Dec. They are not the best people to advertise this company, because the script contains a falsehood. In the advert, they talk about giving people what they want. If this were the case, they would step asside, and allow new talent to do what they are doing.

I HATE the Bookmakers ads currently running - especially the fact that they feature celebrities. The companies try to hide the fact that they are advertising their business, sanitising this fact by pretending its an item offering advice to help people avoid addiction.
I hate ALL bingo adverts!!

“Sausage! For the man that wants to smell like pork”
Thats why the wolves were following him - he smells of pork! He's the Pied Piper of the Mojave Desert :)

His last ad for them was bloody weird too when he screeched off in his big muscle car out into the desert, passed a Buffalo, got out, dug a hole and threw all his jewellery in it (which he appears to have got back now) What the hell does all that signify then? Who writes this pretentious rubbish anyway???

the ads where young families are infested with flies, they are carrying water. basically the clean water adverts with african and asian families saying donate £3 - because someone actually took time out of their day to film people in such treacherous conditions and felt good going home with that feeling like job done let’s uploads that to the tv
.it’s exploitment!!!!!

The Halifax ad with “Stand By Me” by Oasis. It’s so disingenuous and disgusting. They’re pretending they’re some worthy cause that’s there for you — no they’re not! They’re a money grabbing BANK. (They’re my bank too and they rinsed me when I was a student so I hold a grudge)

Another one…this stupid Climate Pledge advert, with the obnoxious kids saying ‘what’s it going to take for you to DO something?’ Little brats
I especially despise the Australian one sitting on a fence snarling with her lip all curled up laying out her accusations. She ought to be pushed backwards into a pile of sheep shit

Pretty much all of them. I remember when you used to get some really creative, funny ads but now it seems adverts are All Men Are Stupid/All Women Are Smug, shouting at me, or have some sort of right-on agenda to clobber me with. I avoid them as much as humanly possible.
Totally agree. And weirdly I still find myself humming advert tunes from the 80s/90s.
Such as ‘I hope it’s chips’ or ‘if you like a lotta chocolate on your biscuit join our club’ and even ‘trioooooo. Triiiioooo’. I can’t think of any adverts today that stick in my memory or make me sing the jingle

Every time I saw that Climate Change ad and the smug kid saying “ I’m only six, you figure it out!”,
I swear I wanted to slap that little dipshit!
Argh! I loathe this one too. Especially the girl who is on about sustainable farming or something and goes ‘it’s a thing now’ in such a pretentious way!

THe new 'woke' John Lewis ad, where the kid goes around trashing the house while his Mum looks on. That is NOT OK. I really want to climb into the telly and sort him out.
