Unlikely, he will want to escort his mom back home, and that would be longer than a week (and it's certainly a week despite his mumbling, fumbling idiotic stammering about how long he'll be away). Also, I doubt Tampa Jay can afford to stay in NYC for a whole week 😂
Why the freak didn’t TJ wait until next weekend to come here & see the Rays play Yankees in the Bronx , big opportunity missed for him !

Adam keeps banking on his residuals to one degree or the other. The only way that works out is if he keeps posting at least some new content to that channel to keep it from going stale. I suspect he’ll figure that out quickly, which is why I think his new direction and DailyWoo retirement will last about six months and he’ll have at least produce weekly content to have a viable cash stream. He stopped daily vlogging before and wound up doing it again because his views dropped way off after a few weeks.
i don’t doubt he has some money saved, but I just think he’ll quickly miss the YouTube checks quickly.
I realize he has 7 more years of content in the bank now, but I still don't see how he thinks the current situation is all that different than what it was in 2017 when he stopped daily the first time. At the start of 2024 he hinted at some alternate content plan (not daily vlogging) to supplement his residual income that would allow him to travel internationally if he wanted and allow him to do other projects that daily vlogging stops him from doing. So far the only thing we've seen is the living room broom handle thing. I thought a podcast but clearly that's way too ambitious for Adam and I was out of my mind.

I also find it odd that he's talking about 2025 so much lately and just does not mention the word retirement at all. This is a guy who repeats stuff nonstop every day of his life. If he was still planning on retiring in 2025, he would be mentioning it repeatedly when he talks about 2025 plans the way he's been doing. So he must know between the situation he's gotten himself into financially that he can't stop - maybe he can move to 4-5 a week if he ups the quality, puts in more effort and does new stuff (like international). I have serious doubts his laziness allows for that though.

It's not just the stadium (although the stadium does suck and wasn't even built for baseball to begin with), it's also the surrounding area which is not very inviting to say the least. You can walk over to Central Avenue and find some pre- and post-game options there but it's still kind of limited. The planned business development around the stadium should help but the Rays are never going to draw to the league median.
Yeah, they need a great stadium and a lot of quality stuff to do around it in order to make the area any kind of success.

I've wondered what his dad thinks of ATW life. If he was a pastor, I would think he would be opposed to all his tattoos & his "punk life" style. Also, with the recent things that have come out on Reddit, I think his parents would question him about it.
When he did that series with his dad back a few years' ago now, his father talked positively about David, the YT channel, and seemed legit humbled by the people who have followed David all these years on his channel. This was in the part of one where his dad was reading some personal comments, or saying something about appreciating the viewers, etc. - cannot recall the specifics. I'm sure someone can find it.

I didn't know where the event was but when you mentioned the bathroom, I know exactly where this is. And yeah, that is one nasty bathroom to be in an otherwise fairly nice area. It's a go-in-and-hold-your-breath bathroom.
Yeah, we were going to eat at Bella Brava (kinda across the street), and I chose to wait until we got there to go.

Mr. Woo dresses and behaves like a mental patient out on a daily pass from the asylum. It's not unusual for such patients to dress up like the images they imagine in their delusional minds, technically known as crazy cosplay. Some dress and act like little children and obsess over Mickey and anyone dressed like a mascot. Others will wear an old ladies gardening hat while sitting in a hot tub fantasizing about this season's prized vegetable garden and the delicious taste when burned in an air fryer. And then there is the most dangerous of the bunch who sport greasy hair and an unkempt greasy mustache. They can be spotted wearing wrinkled unwashed shorts hanging disgustingly low on their gut and appear to be recreating the insane unnerving look of an aging Ron Jeremy after years in prison and the ravishes of incurable STD's. Beware if any of these types are encountered in the wild. They are constantly taking selfies and can be quite disruptive and annoying to anyone in their way.

Dapper Day did start as a way to emulate how people dressed in the 1950s and early 1960s when attending a park, and naturally it has degenerated. I get that people under 40 and definitely under 30 may not get what dapper day was originally conceive as being. Adam is old enough to know but just treats it as another cos play event.

That is the way things are unfortunately. I don't dress up going to RennFests. But like I guess Dapper Days (meaning people get dressed up in their version of dapper). It is an excuse for Steam Punkers to get dressed. While I think Steam Punk is cool. RennFests are not the place for it or at least to me. I am sure there are probably Steam Punkers at Disney too.

Renaissance festivals from what I can tell on social media on the whole just pay lip service to the history and it is anything goes cosplay these days. Ten years ago the fairs were getting pretty loosy-goosey with the outfits, which drove me nuts back then.

I sound like a total prude saying this, the Maryland Rennfest we stopped going to for years because they were allowing very and I mean very adult stuff (BDSM) in. We went last year and ran into a friend there and said something to him about it (this was our first time going in about 10 years). He said alot of people were complaining about it and cracked down on it. We were nicely surprised that the people who did dress up were at least trying to be somewhat historical or at least pirates. I did see one Cyber Punk person. No Steam Punk.

Well, it's Mother's Day and I woke up before 6am to drive to a college graduation 2 hours away, the ceremonies lasted a good 4 hours, out to eat and then 2 hours home, so it's been a loooong day and this is gonna be real short.

So thankfully it's a short 20 min vlog of pretty much nothing. I guess "hidden" small towns are like "hidden" Mickeys, in that they aren't really hidden at all because anyone can find them with Google. Anyway, even Adam can't keep it straight if he's seen these spots before or not because they all look kinda the same, so what's the point. Falling down buildings, old buildings, neglected buildings, "yard art", etc.

I kind of skipped around a bit. I see he pointed out a no loitering, skating, etc sign, he always has to read those, and always has to point out water towers, which he does as well. Hey, it's a Post Office  . He manages to get gas without mentioning the self pumping gas nozzle, but as always documents the price.

He does admit he's visited the Disney grandparent graves before. He reads the plaque. The bizarre overexplaining about how Walt wouldn't exist if the grandparents hadn't met is just "call the doctor, something's wrong" level rambling.

This one isn't doing very well with the views, he really just basically took a day off after his big health insurance walk n talk.

Also, selfishly if Adam's reading, Yanks 2 out of 3 buddy!
Oh snap , Let’s Go Yankees 💙🤣

Yeah, we are not allowed to walk outside here in Iowa. May get attacked by corn 🤣

I see that he has done a "Children of the Corn" filming location video when I did a search. I am not sure if his parents would have allowed a 10 year old David watch that movie when it came out (1984). Since it is an 80's movie, unless he faked his way through the vlog (not going to watch it), I am sure he has seen it as an adult.

It surprises me that Adam believes he can live off of YouTube "residuals" since he is uniquely positioned to know what a dormant YouTube channel pays out -- he has a dormant YouTube channel of his own! He has roughly 10x more videos on his daily channel, so maybe he's assuming that it will pull in 10x the revenue... but even then, it doesn't look like enough to fund the lifestyle he's built. That's why I think that he must have been saving diligently during his van-dwelling days to be able to consider hanging it up (or scaling back significantly).

I've often wondered whether a YouTube channel could be sold. It's probably against Google's/YouTube's terms of service, but the idea isn't that far-fetched. A small business owner could choose to sell their shop, restaurant, service, etc to a new owner in whole or in part when the original owner decides that they no longer want to run the day-to-day operations. A channel pre-loaded with a large back catalog and a long subscriber list would be incredibly valuable to a new wannabe vlogger just starting out. Just imagine Li'l Woo (Tampa Jay) salivating over the opportunity to take over his mentor's channel!
Yes, you can sell a YouTube channel. It isn't against the terms of service. I believe a few of the major video companies have sold their channel's vs going bankrupt.

Yep, likely a borefest of some family events or reunions involving his mothers side of the family. Maybe a little tour of some of her younger day haunts the way he did with his dad a while back. More nonsensical and mysterious relatives to come out of the woodwork with zero explanation. Cousin nephews, nieces aunts, uncle's brothers and other assortments of freaks related to this dynasty. 🤮 Is he then close to Milwaukee or is that a skip for now? He can put her on a return flight to MCO then go to Milwaukee perhaps? Or go home to check on his woomansion then take his orange shorts to go impress Giggles.

Is he checking out cemeteries for the Williams family plot? He probably wants to be laid in a nicer cemetery than what the preacher and wife can afford.

My guess is that he spent the day recording at MK and then the night at Epcot.
But he left MK, went to 7-11, got coffee, then went back and into Epcot? If so, he's even weirder than I thought, which is saying something (you have to watch it on his IG stories to clearly see the 7-11 coffee cup)
