Adam keeps banking on his residuals to one degree or the other. The only way that works out is if he keeps posting at least some new content to that channel to keep it from going stale. I suspect he’ll figure that out quickly, which is why I think his new direction and DailyWoo retirement will last about six months and he’ll have at least produce weekly content to have a viable cash stream. He stopped daily vlogging before and wound up doing it again because his views dropped way off after a few weeks.
i don’t doubt he has some money saved, but I just think he’ll quickly miss the YouTube checks quickly.

It surprises me that Adam believes he can live off of YouTube "residuals" since he is uniquely positioned to know what a dormant YouTube channel pays out -- he has a dormant YouTube channel of his own! He has roughly 10x more videos on his daily channel, so maybe he's assuming that it will pull in 10x the revenue... but even then, it doesn't look like enough to fund the lifestyle he's built. That's why I think that he must have been saving diligently during his van-dwelling days to be able to consider hanging it up (or scaling back significantly).

I've often wondered whether a YouTube channel could be sold. It's probably against Google's/YouTube's terms of service, but the idea isn't that far-fetched. A small business owner could choose to sell their shop, restaurant, service, etc to a new owner in whole or in part when the original owner decides that they no longer want to run the day-to-day operations. A channel pre-loaded with a large back catalog and a long subscriber list would be incredibly valuable to a new wannabe vlogger just starting out. Just imagine Li'l Woo (Tampa Jay) salivating over the opportunity to take over his mentor's channel!

That's his MO - he always only attends one game when he sees them on the road, he's never gone to more than one game. Personally, I'd go to every game if it was my team, but then I'm a baseball fan and he's not.

I think it used to get him views, back in the days when he was really focusing on the challenge and crash dieting and weighing himself on camera and all that. Nowadays he talks about it a bit but doesn't make it the focus of too many videos - he mentions it here and there, but mostly keeps it to Instagram. I think he still mentions it now because of the adoring praise he gets, and then when he goes "off the rails" as he likes to say, they never hammer him for it (even though he says he wants to be held accountable for his actions).

Speaking of views, Dubuque is not exactly lighting it up so far

My opinion: he is not "dating" Savannah. She works for Gatorland. It's her job to get local social media types to events like this, and Adam certainly fits that bill. She's invited him to Gatorland to get such coverage on his channel before, and will do it again. She knows he films and posts the next day, so locals who follow Adam will see it and come this weekend. Plus, he literally posts every night about the Rays from his couch. Don't think the social life is too on fire.

And it would be one thing if he was the only social media influencer there with the actual legit media that was there but Tampa Jay was there too.
I think there is something about him that repels women. He went on what appeared to be a date with Chelsea last winter (he combed his hair and tried to do his version of dressing nice) and she hasn’t been heard from since.

Just to show what a lazy, useless, narcissistic person Adam is...we've discussed his general lack of doing anything for anyone else outside of himself and his family. He doesn't mention volunteering, he doesn't raise money for anything, he doesn't sell merch and donate it, he doesn't even promote a charity of his choice for Giving Tuesday or anything like that - like, "if you're looking for a charity this Giving Tuesday, consider xxxx". Probably because I bet he's never given to a charity and doesn't know any charities.

Anyway, I stumbled across this and it just struck me that of all people, he has never mentioned it (at least to my knowledge)

August 24, 2024. Can even be done virtually. He could do his 5K, support the John Ritter Foundation, and be in SoCal for the Rays and Dodgers all at the same time if he wanted to. How is it that I, someone who really doesn't care one way or the other about John Ritter, happened to come across this and Adam can't figure it out?

And on top of this, he spent a whole day one night with his parents, and he's watched and re-watched many movies and watched a bunch of Rays games on TV in the evenings. And he has to go out and buy every meal he eats, that takes time too. How is he expected to fit walking through the door to the garage into this schedule?

The odds are that he is back to his drinking only coffee during the day & only eating one meal at night , back to the yo yo dieting ! He thinks that losing only the weight will be the ticket to competing in that race

Please God no. Someone would post screen grabs of David shirtless and I would lose my lunch.

But I'd love to see him try it, bringing the camera on the little tripod to the public pool. Or I guess he'd bring the GoPro, but still, he'd be talking to it. He'd have to try to find a time when no one is there, otherwise fellow swimmers will freak out. Hell, even if the lifeguard sees him talking to the camera, they will be like, what the hell is this guy doing? And heaven help him if there are any kids around...
