Who will have the bravery to stick their head above the parapet and call out Trump? Someone posted an extract of this excellent Bernie Sanders speech a few days ago. I saw the full version this morning. 22 minutes but it's bloody brilliant and well worth a watch. He speaks about the numerous anti-Putin/pro-Ukraine Republicans who have now gone silent on the issue.
In the meantime, nazi salutes seems to be getting popular (sometimes bothering to pretend they are 'roman' or 'throwing their heart out' gestures), I'm sure it's a matter of great hilarity to use these to 'own the libs' though it's worth noting (again?) that the French 'National Rally' rep Jordan Bardella cancelled his appearance because he's sane and knows there's things that you don't try to normalise.
At this rate Nazi salutes will become meaningless after a certain point.

It makes you want to throw your heart out to them for making this magnanimous gesture, to give such things a wider appeal than a marginalised group, the CPAC are to be commended for their inclusivity, waving in so many diverse groups as equals.

This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source. Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

The USA voted along with Russia, North Korea, Belarus etc refusing to condemn Russian aggression in invading Ukraine at the U.N today.

I mean, what the actual duck? Can any of our American Tattlers tell us if this is big news in the States? To me, this is so unprecedented it's almost unbelievable. If this isn't a wake-up call for any Republican senator with a shred of decency, then I don't know what to make of the world anymore.
It is unprecedented and shocking. It's the leading story in the New York Times and the Washington Post so definitely big news, at least in some quarters.
None of them will do anything sadly, they are all too scared of getting primaried if they don’t toe the MAGA line. Best chance is voting them out in the mid terms but that’s two more years of pain yet x
