Literally just had that same conversation with a friend. So... I hear you. However, I fear that what Musk and the technofascists have in store is much more terrifying. I've been reading some deeply disturbing stuff 😐

Yep. The new world they want to create is quite Dystopian (to me).

It's been Dystopian for a long time, I think it's just that now we're on the wrong side of it.
It's fascism, we've not been allowed to voice it for years, jumped on every time we suggest something is far right and that that may be a bad thing (I mean it always was where and when I grew up, idk when that changed) and just told to put up and shut up as the machine, demanding blood, rumbles on.

True. The world has never been a kind, nor equal one and the suffering wrought by colonialism has been immense.

I would say though that the Broligarch's ideas of reshaping every government in the world into "Network States" and "Freedom Cities" is on another level. What we have now needs to be completely redone and fixed so to speak, but the idea of the entire world being divided up and run by white men and/corporations is chilling to me.

To any American Tattler who has been paying attention since 2015 when Trump came down the golden escalator, who watches the actual news rather than right wing propagandist like Fox News, who truly understands and cares about Democracy and who believes in the greater good and that all men are created equal, this isn’t big news at all. I’m sad to say that nothing ever surprises me anymore when it comes to Donald bleeping Trump.
